1 Preparing of existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces by air compressor to remove all loose dust/dirt etc and applying evenly a priming/tack coat of paving bitumen grade Vg-10 @ 5 Kg per 10 Sqm and laying bituminous premix Semi Dense Asphaltic Concrete (Gde-II), 30 mm consolidated thickness with minimum 5.5% binder content (bitumen grade VG-30) by weight of total mix in hot mix plant, laid with mechanical paver and rolled to a uniform smooth surface with 12 tonnes articulated tandem roller (Double drum vibratory roller) and compacted to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and directed. Note: (i) The mix shall be mixed in hot mix plant and laid with mechanical paver only. (ii) The mix shall be prepared by designing through job mix formula all as specified from Govt. engg college / Govt approved lab/HBTI. (iii) No price adjustment for Bitumen shall be done for variation on plus side. (iv) Semi Dense Asphaltic Concrete will be comprising of 2% filler material (OPC 43 grade cement). Providing and laying 50mm(consolidated thickness)full grout using granitic or basaltic stone of specified grading at 6.00 cu.m. per 100 sq.m. grouting with hot bitumen straight run bitumen(or with such bituminous material of grade and type as specified by the Engineer-in-Charge)at 5.0kg. per sq. m. binding with key aggregate of granitic or basaltic stone of specified grading at 1.5 cu.m. per 100 sq.m. including Providing and laying seal coat sealing the voids in a bituminious surface laid with F.E loader with 1 Cu.m. bucket capacity to the specified levels, grade and cross fall using Type A seal coat with 0.98 kg/sqm of bitumen of grade as per MoRT&H specifications clause 513.

M&L Preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with wire brush/brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags or by mechanical blower to remove all loose dirt etc to black top surfaces, and applying evenly a priming/tack (Viscosity grade paving bitumen of Grade VG-10) @ 5 kg per 10 Sqm to road surface bituminous asphaltic semi dense concrete consolidated thickness 30 mm with stone chippings graded aggregate with 5.5% of binder content by weight of total mix, (viscosity grade paving bitumen of grade VG-30) and 4% stone dust conforming to required specification for filler as per IRC-95, 1987 (filler) by weight of mix, prepared in hot mix plant, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient to uniform smooth surfaces by mechanical paver and rolled with 8 to 10 tone power roller completed all as specified and as directed.

Repairs to pot holes any depth, not exc 1 Sq m each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water scoring sunken surfaces in roads paths,etc. cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) depth of potholes n exc 30 mm. complete all as specified and as directed.
