Providing and laying of filter media/ metal spall backing in the rear side of retaining wall,abutment etc using hard broken granite stone aggregate (50mm size) to the required thickness with smaller size towards the soil and bigger size towards the wall and provided over the entire surface behind abutment and retaining wall / wing wall of bridge works etc to the full height compacted to a firm condition complete as per approved drawing and technical specifications as per Section 900 & 2500 of MoRT&H Specifications for Road & Bridge works (5th Revision) and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Construction of un-reinforced , plain cement concrete pavement M40 (Grade), thickness as per design, over a prepared sub base, with 43/53 grade cement as per Clause 602, coarse and fine aggregates conforming to IS:383, maximum size of coarse aggregate not exceeding 31.5 mm, mixed in a in fully automatic Batching Plant and transported to site in transit mixer for having continuous agitated mixer, manufactured as per approved mix design including pumping of R.M.C. from transit mixer to site of laying , with all lead and lift including cost of admixtures in recommended portion as per IS 9103 to accelerate/ retard setting of concrete, improve workability without impairing strength and durability as per direction of Engineer in charge laid with a Fixed Form Paver (laying and fixing of 150 micron thick polythene Film and finished in continuous operation including provision of contraction and expansion, construction joints, applying debonding strips, primer, sealant near approaches to bridge/culvert and construction joints, admixtures as approved, curing of concrete slabs for 14-days using water finishing to lines and grade as per drawing and MoRTH Specification Clause 602 including vaccum dewatering process with all required equipments (Dowel Bars will be paid seprately).

Structural steel work (welded) in built up sections, trusses and framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer all complete.

BRIDGE WORK:- Earth work in excavation of foundation of bridge structures in all depth as per drawing and Morth technical specifications section 300 and clause 304 , including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious matter, and all leads and lifts including dressing of sides and bottom and backfilling in trenches with excavated suitable material. All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion,damages to hill side, water polutionetc. and to protect stability of hill side.Rock shall be excavated with chiselling and wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited). All earth work in cutting / excavation includinh rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines, side slopes, width, camber, super elevation and level as shown as the drawing and as directed by Engineer-in-charge in conformity with the requirments of MORD technical specification for Rural road section 300 and 1600 to achieve designed formation width including hauling and stacking of useful materials for construction of suitable sites safe disposal of unsuitable cut material in specified manner filling of unevenness blind age and finishing of the road to specified dimensions or as directed by Engineer-in-charge. The rate is including octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, or any other taxes imposed by the Government but excluding GST.
