Loosening of the ground upto a level of 500 mm below the sub grade level, watered, graded and compacted in layers to meet requirements of table 300 - 2 for sub grade construction & clause 305 of MoSRT&H specifications for road & bridge works(4th revision).

Dismantling brick work or stone work in lime or cement mortar and including stacking of materials as directed by Engineer-In-Charge within a distance of 60 meters (200 feet).

Steel work welded in built up sections/framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer using structural steel etc. as required. In gratings, frames, guard bar, ladder, railings, brackets, gates and similar works.

Item No.5 Dewatering on BHP basis by using water pump including diversion of stream, providing cofferdams, earthern bunds etc. as may be necessary for foundation and other parts of the the works and pumping out water during and after excavation as may be required by using 3.0 BHP pump etc. complete. (prior approval of Superintending Engineer will be necessary)
