1) PRELIMINARY ASSESSMENT Collection and review of base information including: • Existing road layout, Right of Way (ROW) details, pavement type, current pavement condition and distress. • Road edge elements such as berms, paved or paver-block shoulders, and any encroachments. • Surrounding land use patterns, safety issues, and roadside hazards. • Existing utilities and service lines within the corridor • Assessment of the existing drainage system including: • Condition of side and top walls, flow characteristics, and continuity of drains on both sides. • Locations requiring repair or improvement, waterlogging spots, and choke points. • Review of existing cross-drainage structures including: • Culverts crossing the road, their type, dimensions, structural condition, and functionality Identification and documentation of: • Sewage lines beneath or adjacent to the roadway. • Traffic movement characteristics and patterns. • Functional classification of the road within the network. 2) SURVEYS & INVESTIGATIONS • Topographic Survey using TS & DGPS: CL, edges, cross-sections, drains, manholes, utilities, spot levels, trees, poles, encroachments, road edge elements, drain invert levels, plinth levels of adjacent properties etc. • Traffic studies and CDR test studies including: CVC, truck movement and Axle load 3) ROAD DESIGN & UPGRADATION PLAN • Geometric design as per IRC: carriageway width, shoulders, medians, turning radil. Submission with its PDFs • Pavement design (rigid) using MSA-based analysis; strengthening/overlay/reconstruction options, Street Scaping Submission with its summarized report. 3) DRAINAGE DESION Geometric design of drain as per IRC: Plan and profile and its flow pattern matched with cross drainage culverts and its outfall Submission with its PDF 4) COST ESTIMATES, BOQ, RATE ANALYSIS AND DRAFT NIT (TENDER DOCUMENT)
