REPAIR TO ROOF TREATMENT RETROFITTING AND ASSOCIATED WORK IN ZONE-I AREA UNDER AGE B/R-II OF GE (I) KANPUR
Taking down existing sunken portion treatment by demolition of old concrete and tiles and carry out the sunken treatment as in following steps given below and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge :- (a) S&F drainage spout pipe GI 40 mm dia bore light grade upto outside of outer wall (Approx 450 mm to 600 mm long) and WHB pipe 40 mm dia from bottom of WHB to Floor trap as required at site. (b) M&L PCC 1:1.5:3 type B-0 (using 12.5mm graded stone agg), 50 mm thick laid in slope towards drainage out spout pipe mixed with waterproofing chemical as per manufacturer instructions of MAKE :FOSROC/SIKA/Pidilite/STP. Khurra 150mmx150mm (min) at appropriate location for free flow (of leaked water if any) towards drainage spouts shall be provided integrally while laying PCC.Fixing of spout shall be done with same PCC as in this item. (c) M&L18 mm thick cement platster in CM 1:3 on vertical faces mixed with water proofing chemical of MAKE : 301 Pidicrete URP of Dr Fixit or other techno commercially Equivalent make of SIKA/ Pidilite/FOSROC/STP (d) Item no 94 (c) shall be executed while concrete is green as per item no 94(b) above and proper curing and ponding test shall be done before laying drainage/water supply pipes upto the entire satisfaction of Engineer in charge. (e) Applying two coats of SIKA TOP seal 107 of SIKA or other techno commercially Equivalent make of FOSROC /Pidilite/Dr Fixit/STP on vertical as well as horizontal surface. (f) Drainage and water supply pipe if required & test for leakage/sanitary pipes and shall be laid to slope and a clear gap underneath the pipes shall be made available by providing suitable cement concrete blocks.
