Taking down existing sunken portion treatment by demolition of old concrete and carry out the sunken treatment as in following steps given below and procedure as per Appendix'A' of particular specifications. (a) S & F of drainage spout GI pipe 40mm dia bore light grade upto outside or outer wall ( Apprx 450mm to 600mm long). (b) M & L for PCC 1:1.5:3 type A-0 (using 12.50mm graded stone agg) 50mm thick laid in slope towards drainage out spout pipe mixed with waterproofing chemical as per manufacturer instructions for Khurra 150mmx150mm (min) at appropriate location for free flow (of leaked water if any) towards drainage spouts shall be provided integrally while laying PCC. Fixing of spout shall be done with same PCC as in this item. (c) M & L for 18mm thick cement plaster in CM 1:3 on verticalfaces mixed with water proofing chemical while concrete is green and proper curing and ponding test shall be done before laying dfrainage water supply pipes upto the entire satisfaction of Engineer-In-Charge. (d) Applying two coats of seal coat on vertical as well as horizontal surface. (e) Drainage and water supply pipe if required and test for leakage /sanitary pipes and shall be laid to slope and a clear gap underneath the pipes shall be made avbailable by providing suitable cement concrete block. (f) M & L PCC 1:5:10 type E-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as reqd depth at site over and including 150mm thick 20mm single sized stone agg to provide a filter media. (g) M&L PCC 25mm thick 1:2:4 type B-0 using 12.5 mm graded stone aggregate for level course. (h) M&L for 7 to 8 mm thick non skid ceramic coloured joint less tiles (aquare/rectangur) area of each tile exceeding 0.11 sqm but not exceeding 0.18 sqm as in floors etc laid jointing in neat cement slurry and pointed filled with epoxy chemical mixed with pigment to match with shade of tiles over and including 15mm thick screed bed in CM(1:6) complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) Waterproofing treatment shall be undertaken alongwith laying of drainage pipe/sanitary pipes/drainage spout etc. (ii) The work shall be carried out as per the direction of Engineer-In-Charge. (iii) The sunken treatment work shall only be carried out after written approval of Engineer in charge for leakage/seapage of water/ sanitary pipes. (iv) Cost of drainage spout shall deemed to be included in the item however sanitary pipe, water pipe line if required shall be paid separately under respective items. (v) Laying of chemicl required for various applications shall be as per manufacturer instructions. (vi) Plan area shall only be measured and paid.
