Retractable Seating System Providing, supplying, installing, testing and commissioning of motorized retractable seating system, comprising 2 units, complete in all respects as per approved drawings and directions of Engineer-in-Charge. The system shall have overall dimensions of approx. 12.6 m (W) × 6.085 m (D) × 3.05 m (H) in open condition and 12.6 m (W) × 1.55 m (D) × 3.05 m (H) in closed condition, inclusive of 0.8 m high safety railings. Configuration shall consist of row height 300 mm, row width 900 mm, aisle width 700 mm, with total seating capacity of 142 numbers. Seats shall be cushioned type with wooden handrests. The seating structure shall be supported on a high-strength tubular steel framework using sections 100×50 mm, 80×40 mm and 60×40 mm, including cold-formed steel beams for front, rear, panels and guide rails, all powder-coated for corrosion resistance. Row decking shall be 18 mm thick plywood finished with 1 mm non-slip vinyl coating. The system shall be operated through a motorized drive mechanism consisting of 230 V, 50 Hz, single-phase geared motor, complete with electrical control panel and pendant switch for manual operation. Drive wheels shall be 5″ × 1.5″ polyurethane roller wheels with bearing core, designed for dynamic load of 120 kg/m² and static load of 240 kg/m². Motor, gearbox, drive shaft and wheel assembly shall ensure smooth, low-vibration and maintenance-free operation. All connections shall be made using high-tensile nuts and bolts. Side, front and rear railings shall be fabricated from 40×20 mm and 20×20 mm cold-formed steel tubular sections, powder coated and securely fixed. The rate shall include all materials, motors, controls, fabrication, installation, testing, accessories and complete commissioning, finished in line, level and plumb, complete as per specification.
