Supply and installation of The LT Distribution Panel factory-fabricated, cubical, outdoor-type, floor-mounted LT distribution board designed for 415 V, 3-phase, 4-wire, 50 Hz AC distribution systems. The enclosure shall be fabricated from 3.0 mm CRCA sheet steel with a robust welded structure, having IP65 weatherproof protection suitable for coastal, humid, and high-corrosion proof. The panel shall undergo a seven-tank pretreatment process followed by powder coating (minimum 80 microns) in light grey, with anti-corrosive properties suitable for salt-laden atmosphere. The panel shall be of double-door outdoor kiosk type with front and rear access, natural ventilation louvers with insect/vermin-proof mesh, and pad lockable doors. Typical size for a standard GED LT panel shall be 1800 mm (H) × 1600 mm (W) × 800 mm (D) for 400–630 A rating distribution. The panel shall consist of separate compartments for bus bars, incomer breaker, metering, and outgoing feeders to ensure operator safety and ease of maintenance. The busbar chamber shall contain electrolytic aluminium bus bars of rating 600 A duly colour-coded with heat-shrink sleeves (R-Y-B-N), supported on SMC/DMC insulators, and sized for maximum 35–40°C ambient with a temperature rise limit as per IS. Bus bars shall include phase barriers and PVC shrouding to prevent accidental contact. The panel shall have an including with all accessories of incoming MCCB 400 A, with adjustable thermal-magnetic/microprocessor-based protection and breaking capacity of 36kA, depending on the system fault level. Outgoing feeders shall consist of individual MCCBs (63 A × 4 nos),MCCBs (100 A × 3 nos), MCCBs (160 A × 2 nos)MCCBs (250 A × 1 nos),MCCBs (320 A × 1 nos) mounted in separate compartments with cable alleys for proper termination, as required in rural and urban LT distribution networks. Each feeder shall supply LT AB cable / LT XLPE cable outgoing lines for pole distribution systems. Metering shall include a digital multifunction meter showing V, A, PF, kW, kWh, frequency, and demand. Indicating lamps, control wiring (FRLS copper), and auxiliary relays shall be provided as needed. Cable entry shall be bottom-entry through a detachable, gasket gland plate fitted with high-quality double-compression brass or aluminium glands. The panel shall include a full-length GI/Aluminium earth busbar, dual earthing studs, and earth bonds for all doors. The LT Distribution Panel shall comply with relevant safety regulations followed by Electricity Department. The complete assembly shall be routine-tested for insulation resistance, high-voltage withstand, mechanical strength, continuity, and operational performance prior to dispatch. A stainless-steel nameplate indicating panel rating complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.
