Lifting and extraction of stop log gates of all the five old bays by skilled work force through operation of mechanical/electrical hoist mechanism. Lowering of hoist by mechanical/electrical hoist mechanism slowly and precisely into each vertical grooves slowly inside each bay to lift the gates, each gate leaf is to be secured in the lifting hoist by skilled labour with the help of pins and to be lifted slowly. Job involves extraction by proper alignment so that the gates (02 nos. in each bay) are not literally tilted, no damages occur to side seals & hoisting it outside the groove and then stacking the stop log gate in hangers and securing firmly. The process is to be repeated for each leaf (02 leaves in each bay for five no. bays). Safety belts/full body harness, along with fiber ropes anchored with suitable safety mechanism on ground to be used to hold the worker/arrest free fall of worker in case of any unfortunate incident during lifting of gates. The worker should wear a personal floating device which may consist of a vest, jacket or full length suit. The floating device should also include one or two under-straps to be worn between the legs of the workers and also a headrest flap, to event slipping out of the vest. Job involves operation of hoisting mechanism for extraction of gates with the help of DG set, mobile crane, hiring charges of safety equipment, skilled labour, cables required for temporary connections, cost of POL, tools & tackles, cost of device and other safety equipments etc. Extraction of stop log gate of additional new bay of size 4.8 m X 5.0 m with the help of mechanically operated hoist mechanism by employing skilled work force. Job is to be carried out precisely so as to avoid any literal tilting and damages to side liners/seals. Stacking it in suspended position inside the bay itself by proper locking to the hoist drum. Also aligning of the slip out suspended heavy duty iron ropes from the iron pulley on one edge of the stop log gate by engaging skilled /semi-skilled labour keeping in view the nature of work and site conditions involved. Complete Job includes cost of hiring skilled as well as unskilled labour, hiring charges of tools & tackles required at site. Annual repair maintenance of the 12no.s gates at main head Akhnoor by greasing/oiling of all the mechanical components of old and additional new bays i.e 5no.s double gear winch machines of old bays and 2no.s wheel drum hoists along with allied accessories of additional new bay. Job involves application of the grease to the worm & pinion set of gears & on all sliding surfaces, refitting of the winch machines one by one on the respective gates & checking for smooth operation. Also application of grease and mobile oil to the wheel drum hoists alongwith allied accessories at MRC head works Akhnoor. Complete Job includes cost of hiring skilled as well as unskilled labour, hiring charges of tools & tackles required at site.

Material and labour for applying water proofing treatment to sunken slab comprising of the following specifications complete all as specified. (i) Cleaning of roof surface with mechanical means i.e. wire brush/air blower etc. and remove all loose /unsound material,dirt,dust etc. (ii) 15mm thick cement plaster on concrete surfaces in cement mortar (1:3) using and including water proofing compound @3% by weight of cement finished even and smooth without using extra cement, (iii) First layer of cement slurry @ 0.488 Kg/Sqm mixed with acrylic based polymer modified cementitious composite compound @ 0.253 Kg/Sqm of approved make and allowed layer to air cure for 04 hours. (iv) Second layer of cement slurry @ 0.244 Kg/Sqm mixed with acrylic based polymer modified cementitious composite compound @ 0.126 Kg/Sqm and allowed layer to air cure for 04 hours.. Note :- The water proofing treatment shall be carried out by the manufacturer or his authorised applicators and contractor shall also provide 07 years Guranttee for water proofing treatment carried out in the work. Sunken slab will be tested for 48 hour before carring out other works in sunken floor.

Oiling greasing of headstock assembly (for screw hoist system) of regulator gates of canal/ river by cleaning, checking, greasing, screw rod, G.M nut, Thrust b e a r i n g , guide channel, etc including all charges of man & materials which include refilling of gear oil, oiling, greasing and fixing of missing nut & bolts & oil seals etc to complete the job as per direction of EIC.
