MODBUS / Ethernet connectivity should be provided for display of engine parameters such as Engine RPM, Running Hour, Fuel consumption, Engine Water Temperature (Analog and Digital for Alarm) Oil Pressure (Analog and Digital for Alarm), Engine Overspeed (DI), Sensor Failure (DI), Battery Charging (DI), Battery Voltage (AI), Low Battery Alarm (DI), Fuel Level (Low, Medium, Full - all DI), Mains On (DI), DG On (DI), Current in each phase and Neutral (AI), Generator Voltage in each Phase (AI), Generator Frequency (AI), PF (AI), Energy (AI) etc. Address Map should be provided at the time of commissioning. Necessary programming/ configuring (setting of device address, Baud Rate, Parity etc. for Modbus and IP address for Ethernet) at DG controller/ control panel end, should be done by the OEM for setting up connectivity with the existing 3rd party SCADA at no extra cost. Network cable termination at DG end should be done by the OEM
