Scope includes replacement/repair of couplers and counter plates, GI wiring, holding systems, and rigorous electrical testing of all existing associated motors and other electrical components/accessories. Supply of Electrically Operated Lifting Barrier complete set suitable for 24V DC, supply with hand generator back up & motorized boom locking arrangements as per RDSO Spec. SPN/208/2012 with latest amendment. One set consisting of 2 nos. of lifting barrier pedestals, each with 8 contact circuit controller with top roller type limit switches, hand crank, 2 electric motors, 24vdc of capacity suitable to operate barriers up to 32' long booms, 2 nos. of octagonal booms of 32 feet length with 2 nos. Stop boards, boom light boxes, MS counter weights and 2 nos. of boom support with motorized boom locking but without fringes along with control panel with buttons and indicating lamps, motor connectors and MCB and hand generator (24VDC) to operate 2 barriers of 1 set. This includes supply and installation of gate hooter - 1 no and Dual Tone Bell /Buzzer with 18 Flasher arrangement and 20-Watt horn working on 24 V DC/ 110 V AC (as specified in Tender Document)- 1 no with all fixing arrangements. All of the above items including supply of nuts & bolts, foundation as required & supply of cement, civil work materials and etc. Shall be done by the contractor for commissioning. Only 230VAC supply shall be arranged by the railway in nearby relay room. The complete electric lifting barrier set shall confirm to RDSO SPEC NO. RDSO/SPN/208/2012 Ver. 2.0 Amdt. 1or latest amendment. along with Spares & tool kit mentioned in RDSO Spec. SPN/208/2012 clause 10.1 & 10.2 as below - Following spares shall be supplied along with each set (02 nos.) of Electric lifting barrier as per requirement of the purchaser i) Octagonal boom - 1 no. complete. ii) Belt - 1 no. iii) Crank handle - 1 no. iv) Motor Contactor - 1 no. v) Motor protection MCB- 1 no. vi) Push button complete- 2 nos vii) Limit switch - 3 nos. (1 lever type and 2 top roller type) viii) Fuses used - 2 sets - Tool kit consisting of standard sizes of wrench / spanner and Allen keys should also be supplied with each set (02 nos.) of Electric Lifting barrier.
