Painting Old iron works such as steel doors, windows, ventilators, window bars, balustrades etc., with Two coats of best approved first quality and colour of synthetic enamel paint in all floors etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.(The make, quality and colour of paint should be got approved by the Executive Engineer before use on works.)

Painting new iron works such as steel doors, windows, ventilators, window bars, balustrades etc., with two coats of best approved first quality and colour of synthetic enamel paint over the existing red oxide priming coat in all floors excluding cost of priming coat etc., complete as directed by the departmental officials.

Painting or varnishing on previously painted old wood or iron work iron work in small areas with two coat of approved superior quality ready mix paint "Luxol" or equivalent brand or varnish including supply of all materials, labour and T&P etc. required for proper completion of the work. Paint to be used should conform to the I.S. 103-1950 (OLD CSI No. 13.02+13.03)

Painting Steel work with Deluxe Multi Surface Paint to give an even shade. Two or more coat applied @ 0.90 ltr/10 sqm over an under coat of primer applied @ 0.80 ltr/10 sqm of approved brand and manufacture

Plastic Emulsion Paint Works for — Painting: Providing and applying two coats of emulsion paint (on interior and exterior wall) Dulux Professional Weathershield Flex from Akzonobel Dulux or equivalent make Ultima protect longlife (Asian Paints0/Weather coat (Berger) of approved shade, at all locations over and including a priming coat over wall surface, bands, parapet etc., including preparation of surface complete with all bye works complete as per specification and direction of the Engineer. The scope includes preparation of surface with 2 coats of wall care putty on plastered surface of exterior/interior grade and making it smooth and suitable for painting. One coat means painting the surface first with vertical stroke, followed by horizontal stroke. Each coat shall be allowed to dry before next one is applied. Further each coat shall be inspected and approved by the Site-in-charge before the subsequent coat is applied. The job to be executed as per attached technical specifications, job procedures etc. complete and as directed by EIC.
