Suitable for handling saline and silty water with rpm 960 (Sync) or less. The material of construction of flange, suction bell, bowl, shroud shall be CI with 2% Nickel. Impeller, Shaft, shaft sleeve, fastener shall be of SS 304. Suction pipe and Delivery pipe should be in SS 304 with minimum thickness 6 mmand of suitable length (varies from 4-10m) or as per site condition. The prime mover of the pump is to be 3 phase TEFC squirrel cage induction motor of reputed make having star rating above4 operating at 415V +/- 10%, 50 Hz +/- 5% connection with F class insulation, control panel must have dust and vermin proof vertical mounted cubical type panel board of reputed make with FCMA soft starterofreputed make, MCCB including phase failure protection, surge protection device, dry run protection, overload over current protection, thermal overload protection relay, earth fault relay, voltmeter-ammeter fault indication, start and stop switches and power factor correction capacitor etc. Wiring and earthing should be as per regulations of KSEB and electrical inspectorate. Separate cubical type energy meter panel with CT metering provision including 4 Pole FN type isolator, RCCB , HRC fuses and carrier. Suitable size Copper cable for connection from electric post to meter box and meter panel to motor control panel etc. should be fitted at site, with proper earthing. Cable termination should be as per the regulations and specifications of KSEB and Electrical Inspectorate standards. Screen with 6mm GI welded mesh with 50 mm x 50 mm opening size (about 20 sq.m area) framed in GI angles and GI tubes fitted at the opening on top and sides of sump to prevent entry of unwanted materials to the pump through inflow water. Proper I-section should be provided for supporting the motor mountings and pedestal. Suitable chain block and tripod facilities to be provided for lifting the motor at least 1.00 m above maximum flood level. Rate quoted should be inclusive of all the charges for supply, installation including trial run and commissioning, all types of transportation and conveyance, loading and unloading charges, charges for factory testing, but excluding GST etc.
