Construction,testing and commissioning of water treatment plant 5.2 MLD in shape of Rapid Sand Filter bed and allied units :-The scope of work includes the construction of 5.2 MLD WTP capacity water treatment plant capable to treat the raw waterof the quality specified in the basic design data to produce clear water as per the requirements of CPHEEO manual on water supply and treatment and as specified in basic design data. The water treatment plant shall include the construction of inlet chamber, raw water tank, presettling tank, V-notch, Flash mixer, alum solution/mixing tanks and dosing arrangement, clari flocculator, settling tanks, rapid sand filters complete with back wash arrangement, clear water tank, complete disinfection arrangement with bleaching power, plant building( for housing chemical store cum dosing room, water testting laboratory cum attendent room(toilet), supply of laboratory requirement,Electro Mechanical equipments, piping, valves mechanical/ electrical equipment, electric wiring & panel boards, sanitation, interconnecting paths, site development upto a minimum of 3m from edge of battery limit of plant i/c retaining and breast walls and fencing.The firm shall submit the detailed hydraulic and structural design and drawings( 6 copies) for each component of treatment plant which shall be approved by the department before the work is started. The design/ drawings and bearing capacity of soil i/c detailed survey and investigation of the mechnical/ electrical equipment & wiring etc. along with manufacturers specificattion/ design also be submitted for approval by the department. On the completion of all civil, mechnical and electrical works the contractor shall test run the plant for three months (90 days ) before handing over the same to the department at the cost of the contractor. However, electrical chareges shall be borne by the department. During this period the contractor shall run the plant at full rated capacity and produce the resuslts specified in the NIT as per the CPHEEO standards in the presence of Engineer-in-Charge (Chapter 1 and data sheet No.1)

Design, supply and construction of 1.50 MGD (6.81 MLD)(sixteen hours pumping) capacity surface water treatment plant (excluding intake well) including laying of 400 mm dia. DI rising mainline from an intake well to cascade aerator cum primary sedimentation tank, flash mixer, clariflocculator, chemical house cum filter house, clear water reservoir, clear water pump house, clear water pump sets, overhead backwash tank, chemical dosing system, sludge disposal line including sludge handling system with all allied civil, mechanical & electrical works having supply and installation of electrical PLC & SCADA etc. complete including trial run successful commissioning complete in all respect.(Annexure A)

D/F Non return valve (Out Door Use): DI Single Door/ Multi Door Non return valve conforming to IS 5312/2003 (Part I & II) to be fixed after Water meter/flow recorder on pumping main near pump house with dash pot arrangement for 90% fast closing & 10% slow closing.
