Repairs to pot holes any depth, n.exc 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or wtaer, scoring sunken surfaces in road, path etc cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth making good by filling in screened and graded road metal over a priming/ tack coat of paving bitumen primer of grade VG-10 at the rate of 5 Kg per 10 Sqm and providing premixed bituminouys macadam with crushed and graded stone aggregate mixed together with 4.50% of paving bitumen of grade VG-30 by weight of total mix, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.80Kg per 10sqm, blinding with 0.09 cum of stone chippings, 6.3mm size and again well rammed including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chipping, depth of pot holes exc 30mm, rolled and compacted with 8-10 ton power roller complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Materials and labour for earthing complete with Copper earth plate electrode 600 mm x 600 mm x 3.15 mm thick, burried directly and preferably vertically in ground, earth pit not less than 2.25 Mtr deep below ground level with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 m below ground level connetced with copper strip of 20 x 3mm size by means of nuts, bolts, check nuts and washers made of galvanised iron or steel earthing lead to be protected by galvanised iron pipe of 40mm bore (light grade) and other end connected to earthing test point or lightening arrestor or main controlling switch as directed including providing funnel with 20mm bore galvanised iron pipe (medium grade), wire mesh, charcoal or coke and common salt in alternate layer of 15cm (compacted thickness) all round the earth electrode, concrete earth pit in PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 (with 20mm graded aggregate), 50mm thick precast RCC (1:2:4) cover slab (re-inforced with 8mm dia TMT bar @ 15 cm C/C bothways and suitable handle made of 10mm dia) including necessary earth work in excavation in hard/dense soil, returning filling and removal of surplus earth upto a distance not exceeding 50 m etc all as shown on electrical plate No. 3 of MES Schedule Part-I(2009) complete including testing on completion including taking down of unserviceable earthing complete all as specified and as directed. Notes:- (i) Main earthing strip from earth plate electrode to rest point upto length of 7.5 meters length shall deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted against this item. (ii) On testing after completion if the desired resistenance is not obtained the contractor shall redo the earthing without any extra cost to the department.
