SCHEDULE 'A' PART-I

Demolition of brick work, built in cement mortar, including all quoins, arches, pillars including coping etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of plain cement concrete (un-reinforced) in ground floor and paving not exc 15 cm thick above or below ground level complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling of floor, hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding but not backing complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of stone slab and tiles of any description or thickness in floor, apron etc laid, bedded and pointed in cement mortar complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling of asbestos cement sheet (Corrugated semi corrugated etc) as in roof covering complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling of plain or corrugated steel sheeting, any gauge or any thickness as in roof covering, wall cladding etc., complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down chowkats or frames with shutters (without taking off shutters from the frame) area n.exc. 1.5 Sqm including builders hardware each complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down chowkats or frames with shutters (without taking off shutters from the frame) area exceeding 1.5 Sqm but not exceeding 4 Sqm each including builders hardware complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down shutters of any description not exceeding 1 Sqm each including builders hardware complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down shutter of any description area exc 1 sqm but n exc 2 Sqm each including builders hardware complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down cement plaster on walls, including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for brick work with sub class B bricks old size (locally available best quality) straight or curved on plan exc 6 m mean radius, built in cement mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per item No 14 here in above but except bricks complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Old bricks obtained from item No 1 shall be used in this item.

M & L for brick work with subclass ‘B’ bricks, (locally available best quality) straight or curved on plan to any radius in half brick thick wall, built in cement mortar (1:4) complete all as specified and directed.

Cutting chases, pinning in, making good to facing where required and pointing in cement mortar (1:3) to ends or edges of landings, steps, cills, sunsheds, shelves, lintel etc and cutting chases for concealed water tubing or concealed conduit wiring etc n. exc. 10 cm width or girth complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for 2nd class hard wood, plain, solid, straight chowkats and frames, wrought, framed rebated on the solid, rounded or chamfered, put together with glue pinned at joints complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F 35 mm thick second class hard wood glazed and skeleton shutters, open rebated and prepared to receive glass, gauze etc (with out sash bar), edges of framing with plain, chamfered or rounded, fitted with cut and mitred beads for securing glass etc, sizes of members of shutters all as specified in SSR part-I section 8 clause 8.24 (a) complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F 30 mm thick second class hard wood glazed and skeleton shutters, open rebated and prepared to receive glass, gauze, etc., divided in to squares with plain, chamfered or rounded mitred and rebated sash bars any numbers, edges of framing plain, chamferesd or rounded, fitted with cut and mitred beads for securing glass etc., for windows and ventilators, etc are provided with stiles and rails as specified in SSR Pt I Section 8, clause 8.24 (b) complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F 30 mm thick flush shutter, solid core construction with particle board core and plywood face panel, commercial type on both side complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F factory made solid PVC door frame of size 40mm x 47mm made out of 5 mm thick plain colour PVC sheet reinforced with MS square tube complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F factory made solid PVC door shutter 30mm thick (style) consisting of frame made out of MS tubes for top & bottom rails, MS frame shall be covered with heat moulded plain colour PVC 'C' channel having a PVC sheet strip of 20mm width stuck inside with solvent cement for stiles and plain colour PVC sheets for top rail, lock rail & bottom rail, panelling of plain colour PVC sheet to be fitted in the M.S frame welded/sealed to the stiles & rails with suitable PVC sheet beading, and joined together with solvent cement, supplying and fixing in the frame at site as per specfication, drawing and complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down steel rolling shutter, area of each shutter n exc 12 sqm each of any type including cover, anchoring rod, manual gear operated type with gear box and crank handle etc repairs to defective components/replacement such as pulling system of gear system, gear box, locking plate, guide channel, bracelet plate etc reassembling the whole rolling shutter including greasing complete, welding, drilling where required and refixing the shutter after rectification in the same opening complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Shutter shall be removed carefully with accessories without damaging to the adjacent structures. Contractor shall lay out all the defective parts of removed shutter at site and after verification by Engr-in-charge, defective parts shall be replaced with new fixture/items. These fixtures/items/parts shall be paid extra as supply only rates. The contractor shall repair all the repairable defective parts of shutter without any extra cost to the department. All the repaired parts /accessories alongwith new parts/accessories shall be re-assembled and fixed. Contractor shall carry out necessary greasing, easing etc for functioning of the shutter without any extra cost.

Taking down steel sliding shutter, area of each shutter exc 10 sqm but not exc 20 sqm each of any type and repairs to defective components / replacement such as sliding system and pulling system, re-assembling the whole sliding shutter including greasing complete, welding, drilling where required and refixing the shutter in the same opening complete all as directed. Note : The shutter shall be removed carefully with accessories without damaging the adjacent structures. Contractor shall lay out all the defective parts of removed shutter at site and after verification by Engr-in-charge, defective parts shall be replaced with new fitting/items, these fixtures/items/parts shall be paid extra at supply only rates. All the repairs parts/accessories, along with new parts/accessories shall be reassmebled and fixed to the satisfaction of Engr-in-charge in existing postion. Contractor shall carry out necessary greasing, easing etc for functioning of the shutter, without any extra cost to the department.)

M&L for glazed light coloured/printed ceramic tiles 300 x 200 x 7 mm / 375 x 250 x 7mm thick in vertical surfaces such as skirting, dado etc set and jointed in neat cement slurry, pointed in white or coloured cement to match colour of tiles, over and including 10 mm thick rendering in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for coloured ceramic tiles 7 mm thick (square/rectangular), area of each tile exc. 0.18 sqm but n. exc. 0.38 sqm, laid in floors etc set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match the colour of tile over and including 15mm thick screed bed in cement mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per item No.65 above but in vertical surfaces such as skirting and dado, laid over and including 10 mm thick rendering in cement mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L pre-polished chequered cement concrete tiles 30 cm x 30 cm x 25 mm thick with white cement and pigments of approved maked jointed with cement slurry and pointed with white cement mixed with pigment to match with the tiles over and including screed bed of 20 mm thick in cement mortar (1:4) complete all as specified and as directed.

Extra over Granite or marble slabs as in rounding to edges of stone slabs one edge, such as in steps, cooking platform, and other similar situations etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for machine cut kota stone slab flooring 20 - 25 mm thick over cement screed base laid and jointed with grey cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of the slab including rubbing, polishing and treating the surface with beeswax polish over and including 20 mm thick screed bed in cement mortar (1:4) complete all as specified and as directed.
