Repairing, painting with other allied works at room no 10 and 11 of Main Block 2nd floor, within the compound of Writers Building during the year 2026-2027

Removing old scales, blisters etc. of interior surface of walls,ceiling by scraping etc. and preparing smooth and even surface with rendering or cement mortar (1:2) (as necessary), to make the surface suitable for receiving distemper. (Payment against this item will be made only when this has been done on the specific direction of the Engineer-in-charge).

Stripping off worn out plaster and raking out joints of walls, celings etc. upto any height and in any floor including removing rubbish within a lead of 75m as directed.

b) Applying 2 coats of Non-Toxic Acrylic Polymer modified Paint having adhesive & waterproofing properties by mixing in proportion (1 liquid: 4 cementitious material) or as per manufacturer's specification for water proofing layer in water tank etc. (No Departmental Cement is required)

Plaster (to wall, floor, ceiling etc.) with composite mortar of sand, lime and cement including round off or chamfering corners as directed and raking out joints and roughening of concrete surface including throating, nosing and drip course where necessary . (i) With 1:6 cement mortar (a) 25 mm. thick plaster 2nd floor level

Supplying fitting & fixing in position 9mm thick Heavy Duty Cement board-Type A (High Pressure steamcured, tested as per AS-1530part 3 &BS-476 Part 4,5,6,7 & 8,density>1450kg/m3,Bond strength15N/sqmm fire resistant,termite proof,moisture resistant) reinforced with cellulose fibre manufactured through auto clav ingprocess asperIS:14862&ISO8336,withfibrecement screws in partition excluding cost of supporting structure as per drawing sand direction of Engineer-in-hargecomplete. (Note:The Item-26 underSection-U(Page 247) can be used as supporting structure for internal partition ).

Rendering the Surface of walls and ceiling with White Cement base WATER PROOF wall putty of approved make & brand.(1.5 mm thick)

Applying Interior grade Acrylic Primer of approved quality and brand on plastered or cencrete surface old or new surface to receive Distemper/ Acrylic emulsion paint including scraping and preparing the surface throughly, complete as per manufacturer's specification and as per direction of the EIC. (In Ground Floor) i) Water based interior grade Acrylic Primer A) One Coat

Applying Acrylic Emulsion Paint of approved make and brand on walls and ceiling including sand papering in intermediate coats including putty (to be done under specific instruction of Superintending Engineer) : (Two coats) ii) Luxury Quality

(b) Priming one coat on timber or plastered surface with synthetic oil bound primer of approved quality including smoothening surfaces by sand papering etc.

(A) Painting with best quality synthetic enamel paint of approved make and brand including smoothening surface by sand papering etc. including using of approved putty etc. on the surface, if necessary (a) On timber or plastered surface : With super gloss (hi-gloss) (iv) Two coats (with any shade except white
