SCHEDULE 'A' PART-I (B/R PORTION)

Repair to potholes of any depth, not exc 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by filling in screened and graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) complete all as specified and directed.

Premix bituminous, macadam laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber using 8 to 10 tonne power roller consolidated to average thickness 75 mm or less using binder content bitumen of grade VG-30 @ 4% by weight of total mix cpmplete all as specified and as directed. Note:-The bituminious mix shall be prepared in hot mix plant and transported to the site in clean vehicle and shall be laid by means of a self-propelled mechanical paver finisher with electronic sensor and hydraulic controls all as directed.

Preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with mechanical air compressor to remove all loose dirt and applying evenly a tack coat using paving bitumen VG-10 @ 5 kg per 10 sqm over existing black top surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

Bituminous premixed semi dense asphaltic concrete 30mm consolidated thickness using 5.5% paving bitumen content (VG-30) and minimum 2% cement as filler by weight of total mix, using hot mix plant and laid with self propelled mechanical paver fixed with electronic sensor and hydraulic controls, rolled and compacted with 8 to 10 tonne power roller to uniform surfaces with required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed. Note: - Semi Dense asphaltic bituminous concrete shall be designed as specified and binder contents shall be provided as per design mix.

Supply only Moorum from outside MOD land. (Note: Moorum shall got approved from GE before supply)

Forming embankments including raising (or lowering) earth, spreading in layers n exc. 30 cm thick, watering, ramming/rolling and finishing to required size, shape etc., n exc. 1.5 m high from base complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc. and the like n. exc 10cm wide on roads pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing cat eye solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm with PAMA striplens reflector of model No. DA 972.0 fixed with and including MS stud of suitable size as per manufactures instructions. The studs shall be fixed to the road surface using the adhhesive conforming to IS, as per manufacturers recommendation complete all as directed. Make : DARK EYE, Model : DA 972 / OSCAR or equivalent Model of Make 3M/ENNIS/Green Lite.
