E/M PORTION Supply , installation, Commissioning and Testing of Maintenance Free chemical Earhting system comprising of the following :-

Copper Bonded Steel Earth Rod of 3 meter length and 14.2 mm diameter. Auger a hole of diameter 3 inch and 9 feet depth in the soil, placing the Earth rods in to theaugured hole, hammering the rods to 1 feet depth, removing excavated material. Make ERICO Cat Part No:CODE615800 or techno-commercially equivalent of DEHN/ SEIMENCE complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Brief features/ specifications of CBSE Rod is as follows:- (a) The outer surface must be molecularly bonded with uniform layer of 250 micron Copper, 99.9% pure electrolytic coating. (b) Nickel interface must be provided between the copper and steel to avoid the galvanic corrosion. (c) Must be capable of withstanding fusing current of 20 KA @ 1 Sec. (d) Earth rod must be in compliance with IEC 62305- 2, NBC 2010 and IEEE 80. Rod should be tested as per IEC-62561-2 standard. (e) Tensile strength greater than 80000 PSI on 12 mm. (f) High resistance to corrosion. (g) Material category numbr shall be listed in UL listed (h) Rod shall be tested as per IEC 62561- 2 standard in complaince with IEC 62305 standard (j) Manafacturer Make, Part No and UL mark should be printed in each rod.

Ground Enhancement Material (GEM) , Per Bag -11.33 Kgs ,Conforming to IEC 62561-7 Standard, , Premixing the GEM into slurry form using water( not more than5 L to 6 L per bag), Pouring the GEM mixture in the augured hole and filling. Make ERICO Cat Part No: GEM 25A- 25-1lb or techno-commercially equivalent of DEHN/ SEIMENCE complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Brief features/ specifications of the follows : - (a) Must be carbon based superior conductive material. (b) Resistivity must be less than 2 Ω-cm. (c) Must not cause corrosion to copper when in contact. (d) Must not expand or experience any shrinkage once set. (e) Must not depend on the continuous presence of water / moisture / salt to maintain its conductivity (f) Must not decompose or leach out with time. (g) Must not contain hazardous chemicals as per IEC 62561-7 standard. (h) Flexural and possess compressive strength as per relevant standard. (j) Sulphur content must be less than 2%. (k) TCLP Test shall be conducted on the material (l) material shall be inline with IEEE 80 clause 14.5.d (m) Corrosion test shall be conducted on the material under both aggressive and non aggressive conditions. (n) Installation Instruction and Material DATA sheet should be printed in each package.

Ready made PVC Heavy duty earth chamber (250 mm Dia , 260 mm Height) withround cover and minimum 5 ton load bearing capacity, marking earth resistance value on it in painting Make : ERICO or techno-commercially equivalent of DEHN/ SEIMENCE complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S & F 1 run of 10 mm Copper Bonded Steel Round Conductor, minimum copper bonding shall be 254 microns having continuous coin form, the conductor core consists of a low carbon steel grade for improved flexibility. The copper surface of the conductor should provide high conductivity and corrosion resistance properties, should not crack or tear when conductor is bend well‐suited as a earth lead conductor orequipotential bonding conductor in accordance with the IEC 62305- which shall betested as per IEC 62561-2:2012 standard. Including excavation depth 50 cm for laying round conductor, removing excavated material, return filling or fixing with holder. Material category/ part number shall be listed in UL site.Make ERICO Cat Part No:CBSC10 or techno-commercially equivalent of DEHN/ SEIMENCE complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S & F Clamp Holder made up of 304 grade SS with SS bolt and nut at every 1 m distance of round conductor. The clamp should be suitable Copper bonded Steel round conductor size of 10-mm. Make ERICO or techno-commercially equivalent of DEHN/ SEIMENCE complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M & L for Stainless steel Terminal connections to Equipment Body connection from maintenance free earth pit by mechanical connection using nuts, bolts and all other accessories complete as required by Engr-in-Charge. Make ERICO or technocommercially equivalent of DEHN/ SEIMENCE complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note: Terminals of existing earth pits shall be cleaned for proper contact with CBSC.

M & L for Cadweld Materials for Connections between Ground Rod with CBSC conductor by Exothermic reaction. Connections to be made with a semi-permanent graphite mould, which shall hold the conductors to be welded. Weld metal must be a mixture of copper oxide and aluminium, should be compliant with IEEE 80 standards and tested as per IEEE 837 -2014 standard. M & L for cutting the existing hard standing/PCC/WBM road at a depth not less than 30 X 30 cm in width for passing of pipe line/cable through pipe, returning , filling in complete including finishing the top surfaces by providing cement concrete (1:3: 6) type C2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) 20 cm thick on top . PCC surface finished to a uniform smooth surface , bottom filled with excavated earth complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for cutting grass , bushes, creepers, weeds, unwated plants/growths etc , in and arround the panel board , substation or any other location as directed by Engr in charge /GE and removing rubbish off the premises complete all as specifed and to the entire satisfication of the Engr-in-charge.

Taking down old/ US earthing from Panal / DB and other eqpt and all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

IMPROTANT NOTE FOR SER ITEM NO 1 TO 8 (1) The complete works of the Earthing system is to be got done from the OEM of their authorized sister concern/channel partner only. (2) Design/Drawing/BOM/ Technical specifications of the complete earthing system showing the layout including dimensions is to be obtained from OEM strictly keeping in view the actual ground requirements & the same is to be got approved from Engr-in-Charge & GE before placing final order to the OEM. (3) Any items missed out in the technical specification , but technically required for efficient working of the system is deemed to be included in the unit quote rates. (4) The contractor /Firm is required to visit the site prior to quoting of the subject items/work so as to ascertain the actual ground requirements. Any further query at a later date shall not be entertained & resposibility of the same shall rest on the contractor/firm. (5) Comparative analysis in respect of the items wherever techno-commercially equivlent w.r.t the given Cat/Part/Model ref concerned is to be submitted to the Engr-in-Charge & GE for approval. (6) The cost of making good the disturbed surfaces (Substation yard Stones and gravel, Walls, Pavement etc) is deemed to be included in the unit quoted rate of relevant items. (7) On testing if the desired earth resistance is not found according to the relevant Indian Standards it is to be redone to the entire satisfaction of Engr-in-Charge at no extra cost to the Dept after completion of work contractor should submit a detailed Report of Earth resistance test result from OEM and same is to be certified from Engr-in-Charge & GE. (8) Repair/ Preventive maintenance of the complete earthing system is to be got doen from the OEM /Sister Concern/Channel partner only by the contractor for the entire defect liability period i.e two years from the certificate date of competion & the cost of the same is deemed to be included in the unit quote rates. (9) If any damage to any electical/communication cables or any pipe lines or any other installations occurs during execution of the work then the same shall be made good by the contractor to the entire satisfaction of the concerned & the cost of the same is deemed to be included in the unit quoted rates. (10) Testing at an interval of 6 months of the entire earthing system is to be got done drom the OEM/Sister Concern/Channel Partner only by the contractor & report submitted accordingly to the Engr-in-Charge of the entire defect liability period & and the cos of the same is deemed to be included in the unit quote rates. (11) Purchase Voucher & Manufacturers test certificates to be submitted in original to the Engr-in-Charge.

AGE B/R I DSSC WELLINGTON Framed work as in doors or gates of angle or other section with gusset plates, rails, guard bars, grills, braces, etc., complete, drilled for fixing of steel sheeting or other covering. Doors, etc. to be prepared for hanging or sliding with and including either hooks and hinges or steel hanging door fittings (exclusive of steel sheeting or other covering, running rails and guides) and hanging; also fastening Fe 410-W (Gde-E- 250)quality-A as specified and as directed.

M & L for preparation of new or previously untreated steel surfaces of any description, over 10 cm width or girth, not otherwise described and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint (any shade) over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer all as specified and directed.
