Excavating in post holes in soft/loose soil or Hard/dense soil (For any type of Soil take avg of both) (or similar holes) each n exc 0.5 cu. m, getting out, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exceeding 25 cm,watering, and removing surplus soil to a distance n exc 50 m and making good surface.

Dismantling of existing Steel/Wooden posts and struts, any sections embedded in concrete/hard core including taking out embedded portion and making good disturbed ground complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes : - This item shall also include the demolition of foundation concrete/hard core and taking out the posts and struts carefully and removing the same from site.

S & F Mild steel work as in fencing posts and struts including cutting tops to shape as directed, drilling holes, notching for wire, etc.; flat iron fillets (for securing wire mesh , barbed wire etc.) including all necessary drilling, bolting or riveting, etc., and similar work conforming to Fe-290 Gde E-165.

All as per ser item No 3 above but fixing only.

PCC 1:3:6 type C-1, using 20 mm graded stone aggregate, as in benching and coping, bed plates and similar work etc including necessary form work all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Cement concrete (1:4:8) type D-2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregates as in foundation, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified.

Dismantling/taking down barbed wire from the existing angle iron fencing posts and neatly coiling on rough drums for re-use or removing from the site complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Galvanised iron wire 2 strand, steel barbed wire 2.24 mm dia, barbed with 2mm dia barbs at 75 mm spacing and straining and fixing to mild steel fencing posts, any type of standard rails, straining bolts including securing or tying at crossings with and provision of galvanised mild steel wire staples or steel nibs, pins complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Each line of barbed wire to be measured seperately.

All as per Srl item No. 8 here in before but using old wire including restraining, resecuring including making good staples etc. complete all as specified.

Rendering 15 mm thick in cement and sand mortar 1:4 on fair faces of brick work or cement concrete surfaces including finishing the surface even and smooth using integral water proofing compound including taking down cement plaster of any description complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (WPC shall be measured and paid separately)

Preparation of newly plastered surfaces of walls and applying two coats of cement base paint over a coat of primer complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Preparation of old plastered or unplastered surfaces of walls and applying one coats of cement base paint complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Site clearance for fencing,plastering and painiting to faciliate working area coming under cutting and filling shall be cleared of shurbs , vegetation ,grass, bush, weed , trees and sapling not exceeding 30cm in girth measured at height of 1 Mtr above ground level and useless material disposed off up to a distance of 50 mtr outside of the area.

Preparing new treated surfaces for beam projection etc of any type of projection (plastered or unplastered surfaces) and applying two coat of apex paint including priming all as specified and directed.

Preparing old treated surfaces for beam projection etc of any type of projection (plastered or unplastered surfaces) and applying one coat of apex paint all as specified and directed.

Demolition of brickwork or stone boulder masonary built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars etc complete all as specified.

Demolition and breaking up drain pipes (Salt glazed ware, AC or Reinforced concrete) set in cement mortar of 150 mm diameter incl bends, complete all as specified and directed.

S & F for RCC class NP3 150mm dia drain pipes laid in trenches and jointed all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge.

Concrete bed to drain pipes 1:3:6 type C-2 using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate including packing under and haunching against the side of pipes after they are laid and tested for 150mm internal dia of pipe.

Returning filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc. 25cm, complete all as specified and directed.

Cleaning of sewage line 150mm/200mm internal dia at any depth including manholesby removing the manhole covers of any sizeand cleaning by meansof hydraulic jet pressure / vaccum suction machine as required at site fromand well flushing with water after cleaning including getting out sludge if any and liquid materials from connecting manholes deposited in sewer lines removing the solids and sludgeto any distance/place outside the defence land andreinstating the manhole cover to its original position (cost of removal of sludge/liquid materials from sewage lines and manholes in the same line is includes for keeping particular sewage line which is undertaken once for cleaning, functional for full contract period) complete all as specified and directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

Taking out/pumping contaminated sewage water from septic tank/soakage well incl inlet/outlet chamber after plugin incoming sewage line suction(vaccum) type machine mounted on LMV/HMV and facility of high pressure vaccume and removing and dumping off the same in tank to a place out side contonment at the place marked for the purpose by local municipality or the authority controling the area as directed by Engr-in-charge. Note :- contractors are advised to ascertain the place suitable/earmarked for disposal of sludge/sewage water from local municipality or area controling authority before quoting their rates. Disposal of waste at suitable place shall be sole responsibility of contractors and no representation or objection in this regard will be entertained at any later stage.

Removing of manholes cover, keeping aside and cleaning silt/sewage/garbage etc from manholes. Clear of blockage by rodding manually or mechanically complete with entire satisfaction of Engr-in-Charge.

Removing of grating and refixing with cement after cleaning the blockage, keeping aside and cleaning silt/sewage/garbage etc from gully trap. Clear of blockage by rodding manually or mechanically complete with entire satisfaction of Engr-in-Charge.
