Work Description

e-Tenders have been invited through e-procurement from the eligible Agency/Firm/Organization Agri-Science Centre / Qualified Technical Contractors for production of Goniozus parasites with materials for the control of Black Headed Caterpillar on contract basis by using infrastructures and inputs of the General Laboratory of this office. The bidders should mention the cost of production of each parasite/total numbers and the said tender is subject to the following terms and condition.

Eligibility Criteria

Tenderers should not be associated, or have been associated in the past, directly or indirectly, with a firm or any of its affiliates which have been engaged by the Purchaser to provide consulting services for the preparation of the design, specifications, and other documents to be used for the procurement of the goods to be purchased under this Invitation of Tenders.

Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

Bidders should attach all the scanned copies of the certificates/ documents as required in eligibility criteria

Corrigendum /Addendum / Corrections, if any will be published in the website

The tenderers should pay E.M.D for Rs.50,000/- through e procurement portal. Mode of payment : 1) Credit Card, 2) Debit Card, 3) OTC and 4) NEFT For more clarification contact e procurement cell Contact No: 080-46010000/080-68948777

The successful Bidder should produce performance security deposit of 5% and differential cost of the tender amount in form of DD in favour of Deputy Director of Horticulture (Plant Protection), Lalbagh, Bangalore, before issue of work order from the Department

Payment will be made to the successful bidder, based on the quantum of work done and budget availability

Successful bidder should make proper utilization of the infrastructure and input of the departmental laboratory and no new equipments will be purchased, any damages to the equipment/Building the amount will be recovered from the agency.

Tenders should be submitted well within the stipulated last date. The tenders received beyond the stipulated time will not be accepted for any reason

The above parasites should be produced and handed over only at the Parasite Laboratory situated at Lalbagh

Payment will be made in accordance with the number of parasites produced and delivered to the Officers of the Laboratory

Preference will be given to those Agency/Firm/Organization Agri-Science Centre / agencies/companies/institutions Qualified Technical Contractors who have work experience in production of parasites (necessary documents issued by the competent authority should be enclosed).

Priority should be given to hygienic condition in the Laboratory

The successful bidder should produce parasites as per the monthly MPIC programmes and maintain the laboratory hygienically

There is no provision for any advance payment for this work since the project has to be taken up on credit basis

The EMD & performance Security deposit will be returned to the successful bidder after completion of tender period without any interest and after successful handling over of the produced parasites as per the monthly programme. In case of any default can occurs like damages to the infrastructure of the lab, the same amount will be deducted from the EMD/performance Security deposit of the agency

The production of parasites should be carried upto 31st July-2027

The tenderer should go on increasing his production capacity in accordance with the demand for the parasites. No assistance will be available from the Department in this regard. The successful tenderer should submit an agreement in this regard on Rs.100/- stamp paper

If Several Bidders Quotes the same rate ,then Lottery Method of Selection of bidder Will be followed

The bidder Should not quote Less than 0.75 paise
