Development of Green Belt at VOC Port Estate-Plantation of Trees and Maintenance for Period of One Year at Various Locations in VOCPA

Earthwork in bulk excavation indense (or) hard soil (exceeding30cm in depth, 1.5m in width aswell as 10 Sqm. on plan) includingdisposal of excavated soil lead upto50m, disposed soil to be levelledand neatly dressed etc., complete complying with AISS and as directed by the departmental officers.

Collection and Supply of good quality Red earth from Vagaikulamand conveying by road with anaverage lead of 26 KM & stacking atsite for pre-measurement includingcost of materials, conveyance of redearth, labour, tools & plants etc.,complete and asdirected by the departmental officers.

Collection and Supply of goodquality Cow dung manure (welldried manure) from Tuticorin townand conveying by road with anaverage lead of 13 km & stacking atsite for pre-measurement includingcost of cow dung manure,conveyance, labour, tools & plants,etc., complete and as directed by thedepartmental officers.

Supplying and Planting of wellgrowth and healthy Saplings of 1.5mheight in poly bags for plantingworks at site. The saplings varietiesshall be Neem, Pungai, Vagai,Novai, Poovarasu. The costinclusive of cost of saplings,conveyance, loading, unloading, allmaterials, labours and plantingcharges etc., complete and asdirected by the departmentalofficers.

Providing and fixing SaplingProtector (M.S. tree guard) 16-inchdia circle in plan, height 4 feetabove ground level. The 2 nos MSRing patti of size 19 x2 mm 16-inchdia welded on Top and bottom ofweld mesh jali. The weld mesh jaliof size 40 mm x90 mm (hole) 14gauge 4 feet long. The verticalsupportive legs shall consist of threenos of MS angle of size 19 x 2 mm1 feet long welded on bottom MSpatti. One name plate of 1mm thickM.S. sheet of size 250 x 100 mmshall be welded to the SaplingProtector (tree guard) near themiddle portion of the SaplingProtector and writing the name withpaint as instructed by the departmental officers. The SaplingProtector shall be conveyed andfixed to the ground at the identifiedsite. The Sapling Protector shall bepainted with one coat of primer andtwo coats of enamel paints ofapproved brand, complete in all respect. The cost inclusive of M.SPatti, Weld Mesh jali, M.S. Rod,M.S angle, M.S Sheet, Welding,painting, Conveyance, loading,unloading, fixing charges labourcharges, tools and plants,etc.complete and as directed by

Engaging of One Unskilled labourfor cleaning, planting purpose etc.,The cost including of Labour, ESI& EPF. Complete and as directed bythe departmental officers

Engaging One No. of Tractor fittedwith water tanker (6000 litrescapacity) in good condition withDriver and One Male Mazdoor forwatering the plants whereverrequired. The cost inclusive oftractor hire charges, fuel, driverbata, labour charges etc., to executethe work and complete the work tothe entire satisfaction of thedepartmental officers. Note : Waterwill be supplied by VOC Port Trustat free of cost from Port water tank.

Supplying and fixing of CasurinaProps of size 13 Cm - 15 Cm dia.and height 1m for the purpose oftightening with the planted avenuesaplings for the support. The costinclusive of conveyance, loading,unloading & materials (CasurinaProps) labours, fixing charges etc.,complete and as directed by the thedepartmental officers.

Supply of Potable water 6000 litresper trip by engaging Tractor fittedwith water tanker (6000 litrescapacity) with Driver and One MaleMazdoor for watering the plantswherever required. The costinclusive of Potable water, tractorhire charges, fuel, driver bata, labourcharges etc., to execute the work and complete the work to the entiresatisfaction of the departmentalofficers.

Mixing of Red earth and Cow dungmanure for spreading and levelingthe plantation area for requiredthickness including labour, tools &plants, etc., complete and as directed by the departmental officers
