Note: In case description of any two or more items of the schedule ‘A’ is same and the tenderer quotes different rates for such items, only lowest rate of such items will be considered for acceptance and subsequently payment will be made upon execution of the items accordingly.

Excavation in trenches not exc. 1.5 mtr wide and not exc. 1.5 mtr deep and getting out in the following type of soil for laying pipes complete all as specified.

(a) Hard / dense soil

Returning, filling in soils, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc. 25 cm thick complete all as specified.

Removal of excavated material to a distance not exc. 50 mtr away from starting point and depositing where directed at a level not exc. 1.5 mtr above starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for cutting road/hard standing not exc. 0.60 mtr wide and not exc. 0.25 mtr deep for laying and taking out water pipe line including making good the disturbed portion as per existing earlier complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking up or down steel tubing and connections, including cleaning for re-fixing complete all as specified and as directed for the following sizes.

(a) 15 mm dia GI tubing

(b) 20 mm dia GI tubing

(c) 25 mm dia GI tubing

(d) 40 mm dia GI tubing

(e) 50 mm dia GI tubing

Refixing old steel tubing and connections in new or old position (walls, ceiling. Floor, trenches etc.) including cleaning or rerunning the old screw thread as required and providing required connecting materials complete all as specified and as directed for the following sizes.

(a) 15 mm dia GI tubing

(b) 20 mm dia GI tubing

(c ) 25 mm dia GI tubing

(d) 40 mm dia GI tubing

(e) 50 mm dia GI tubing

Supply and laying GI tubing medium grade ISI marked with all fittings, laid in trenches complete all as specified and as directed for the following sizes :-

Supply and laying GI tubing medium grade ISI marked with all fittings fixed complete to walls and ceiling or laid in floors incl. making good of disturbed surfaces complete all as specified and as directed for the following sizes :-

(a) 15 mm dia GI tubing

(b) 20 mm dia GI tubing

(c ) 25 mm dia GI tubing

Supply & fix in repairs Gun metal globe/gate valve ISI marked high pressure with iron wheel head screwed both ends/butterfly type for iron pipe line and fixed properly of following sizes including taking out unserviceable gun metal gate valve:-

(a) 15 mm dia bore

(b) 20 mm dia bore

(c) 25 mm dia bore

(d) 40 mm dia bore

(e) 50 mm dia bore

Taking up CI water mains (including all fittings), with spigot and socketed ends and lead joints including burning out lead joints and recovering lead complete all as specified and as directed for the following sizes of pipes :- Note : Necessary Excavation and earth work will be measured and paid separately.

(a) 80 mm dia bore pipe

(b) 100 mm dia bore pipe

(c) 150 mm dia bore pipe

Re-laying the Cast pipes with spigot, socketed ends in any length laid in trenches complete all as specified and as directed for the following sizes (CI pipe taken up vide relevant item in schedule)

(a) 80 mm dia bore pipe

(b) 100 mm dia bore pipe

(c) 150 mm dia bore pipe

S&F ductile iron pressure pipes, class K7, centrifugally cast with spigot and socket ends as per following conforming to IS 8329/2000 with cement mortar lining inside the pipes with outside zinc coating suitable for push-on-joint (rubber gasket D jointing) in any length as required at site and all jointing materials, making good for disturbed surfaces of roads, path ways etc while laying the pipe line at site, site clearance for the route of pipe line complete all as specified and directed for the following sizes: Notes: (i) Rates are inclusive of Lead Joints / D-Joints and all other fittings as required during laying of pipes. (ii) Contractor is responsible for repair/replacement of any damages to the existing structures, Under Ground HT/LT/OFC Cables etc during the course of execution. (iii) Excavation and Earth work shall be measured and paid separately. (iv) Its contractor responsibility to connect all the existing connections after laying the DI pipes as before (v) Special required shall be measured and paid separately. M&L in replacement of old unserviciable CI/DI fitting for spigot/socketed pipe such as bends of any radius and angle,collars,tapers,tail pieces. Tee pieces,Caps and plugs suitable upto 200 mm bore dia all as socketed or socket and spigot or side flanged complete all as specified and directed

Supply and fix DI sluice valve confirming to with iron wheel head, rating PN 1.6, Steel spindle, bolts and nuts, rubber or fiber board gaskets, including taking out old unserviceable CI Sluice valve from existing position by opening the nuts, bolts, jointing rings etc., complete all as specified and as directed by for the following sizes:-

(a) 80 mm dia bore

(b) 100 mm dia bore

(c ) 150 mm dia bore

Material and labour for run lead joints complete including jointing material such as spun yarn complete all as specified and as directed for the following sizes:-

Cutting of CI/DI pipes in position for insertion of new Tees, branches, Tail pieces and sluice valve etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

Construction of valve chamber having inner dimension 1000 x 1000 x 1000 mm (suitable for 80mm to 200mm sluice valves & reflux valves) with PCC 1:4:8 type D2 for foundation, brick work wall in cement mortar (1:4), PCC 1:2:4 type B1 for coping, rendering plaster in CM 1:4, 15 mm thick including provision of MS Sheet top cover 3mm thick with welding of MS angle iron of size 25mm x 25mm x 4 mm at edges and in diagonal and angle iron base frame of 50 x 50 x 6 mm, painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer on iron surfaces, lime wash on internal and external cement surfaces and locking arrangements including demolition of the existing chamber, necessary excavation and earth work complete all as specified and as directed.
