Design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of CO2 gas flooding (local) extinguishing system for APU AND CONTROL CABIN as per the details given in the drawing attached in accordance with NFPA-12/ IS-15528 and other relevant IS standards referred in IS15528 for pipes and other equipments and testing complete all as specified and as directed.

NOTES FOR SERIAL ITEM NOS 1 to 11 ABOVE :- (i) The contractor shall submit working detail comprising of quantity of CO2 gas, piping layout, nozzles along with sizes and quantities, complete accessories and safety devices, specifications of all equipment along with makes to GE during execution of work along with drawings showing precise layout and locations of all the above equipment for vetting by CFEES and for further approval by GE before execution. (ii) Design of CO2 flooding system alongwith gas calculation and drawing design of fire suppression system with the HFC 227ea shall be vetted by QCI registered TAC (Test, Audit and Consultancy) in Mechanical Enineering branch with 5 years experience in design of gas flooding system and have designed minimum 3 Nos gas flooding installation for future vetting of CFEES and approval of GE. The extraction and filling of CO2 for quality and purity of HFC 227ea shall be vetted through TAC. Name of TAC: M/s EFFISENSE CONSULTING, S & T WONTEL or any other QCI registered TAC meeting the requirment given above.

(iii) The supply and installation shall be carried out by the agencies possessing authorization from OEM alongwith undertaking by the OEM that after sales service and spare parts support shall be made available to the Government for minimum period of 7 years after its installation. (iv) The fire extenguishing system shall be integrated with fire alarm and signaling system. Fire extinguising system for electrical panels and controls of equipments shall be with clean agent HFC 227ea. Therefore fire alarm system shall be designed separately for areas to be covered under CO2 flooding system and other areas shown in drawings. Location and type of detectors shall be clearly marked on the drawings along with CO2 flooding system and clean agent HFC 227ea system. All rooms shall be provided with portable fire extinguishers which shall be measured and paid separately. (v) The rate quoted by the bidder shall be deemed to include complete system except cost of following items which shall be measured and paid for separately as per actual quantities as per approved design and marked on fresh drawings submitted by the contractor during execution of work.
