M&L for detecting leakages in water pipeline of the following sizes and rectifying the same by providing and applying required jointing—run lead joint, spigot & socket joint, flange joint, D-joint, mechanical joint etc.—including jointing material such as lead, flanges, clamps, jute, rubber gaskets, nuts, bolts, washers, grease, socket fittings, etc. Testing of the pipeline after rectification shall be carried out to the satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge. Notes: (a) Excavation in any type of soil/strata, cutting of RCC/PCC surface, road cutting, return filling, compaction, T&P and making good the disturbed surfaces is included in the quoted rate. (b) Testing shall be carried out in the presence of the Engineer-in-Charge. (c) The cost of joints, fittings, nuts, bolts, clamps, flanges, rubber packing, welding, D-joint of any size is included in the quoted rate. (d) Defect rectification shall be attended within 24 hours of complaint by JE E/M or Engineer-in-Charge. (e) Delay beyond 24 hours shall attract recovery @ Rs. 500 per hour.

M&L for comprehensive maintenance of pump motors of any capacity/type installed at various locations, including connected LT panels, valves and pipelines of any size/type. Work includes daily visits, fault detection, rectification, cleaning, inspection, electrical disconnection, dismantling, repair/replacement of defective parts, re-alignment, reconnection and testing complete as directed. Locations: (a) INS AGNIBAHU (b) INS ANGRE Notes: (1) Major Spare parts shall be measured and paid separately under respective items. (2) Sufficient manpower for daily servicing and spares replacement (excluding Sundays) shall be part of the comprehensive maintenance schedule. Daily routine maintenance records shall be maintained in the format approved by the Engineer-in-Charge. All faults dectected shall be recorded in a register duly signed by JE, AGE and the contractor (3) Minor consumables such as gland packing, grease, oil, nuts, bolts, washers, rubber packings, couplings, etc.shall be included in the rate quoted by the bidder (4) Transportation of pump motors to and from the workshop (if required) shall be included in the rate quoted by the bidder.

M&L for periodic and preventive service of diesel engine-driven pump (45 to 60 HP) installed at various locations, including the following works: (a) Replacement of oil filters (b) Replacement of air filter (c) Replacement of fuel filter (d) Calibration, servicing & cleaning of fuel injector pump (e) Replacement of belt drive (f) Replacement of engine oil and coolant (g) Repair/service of radiator assembly (h) Replacement of four vibration pads per diesel pump Notes: (1) Any parts/accessories required to make the pump functional are included in the quoted rate unless otherwise specified. (2) Cost of dismantling and removing the diesel pump for fixing vibration pads and reconnecting with T&P is included.

Attending complaints of pump motors of any capacity/make by skilled mechanic, including checking/testing of DOL/star-delta starters, relay and timer settings, NO/NC contacts, main power connections, alignment of motor & pump through level indicator, fixing cable joints, providing gland packing of suitable size, rectifying leakages by replacing flange/coupling/rubber packing/nuts/bolts, and cleaning motor to ensure satisfactory running. Items Included in quoted rate: (a) Minor spares: lugs, wires for starter, nuts/bolts, washers, flanges, rubber packing, gland packing, cable joints, couplings. Service level requirement: (a) Complaints must be attended within 24 hours. (b) Delay beyond 24 hours shall attract recovery @ Rs. 500 per hour.

Supply and fixing in replacement of LED indicating lamp of dia 16 mm with power consumption < 0.6W,min efficacy 120 Lmn/watt LVGP & surge protection, 64/110 Volts AC/DC / 240 Volts AC, colour Red/Green/ Yellow/Amber/Blue/White, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and replacement of motor starter timer (suitable range as per site requirement) for pump motor starters of any capacity, complete as directed.

Supply and fixing in repairs of single-phase preventer suitable for motor up to 20 HP, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for construction of brick masonry valve chamber (internal size 1.2 m × 1.2 m × 1.2 m) above GL by 0.30 m, suitable for installation of sluice valves of any capacity, comprising the following works: (a) 15 cm thick PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 foundation over 15 cm thick broken stone hardcore. (b) 23 cm thick brick masonry in cement mortar 1:4. (c) 15 mm thick internal and external plaster in cement mortar 1:3 including finishing the top surface smooth. (d) 5 mm thick MS plate cover mounted on 50×50×6 mm MS angle frame embedded in PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 coping. (e) Hinged rectangular opening (150 mm × 100 mm) with locking arrangement and holdfasts. (f) One coat of red oxide primer and two coats of synthetic enamel paint on steel surfaces. (g) Earthwork in excavation and return filling in any type of soil including disposal of surplus soil outside MD land. Complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for spray painting pump and motor sets up to 50 HP with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of red oxide primer after complete removal of existing treatment, including writing pump name/capacity with black synthetic enamel paint, complete all as specified and directed. Note: Painting of iron base frame with dark black synthetic enamel paint is to be included in the quoted rate.

(ii) Removing old burnt copper winding and cleaning stator slots using carbon tetrachloride solution. (iii) Rewinding stator with super-enamelled copper winding wire of suitable gauge to match existing winding characteristics. (iv) Applying minimum two coats of insulation varnish and curing the stator assembly in heating chamber to improve insulation value. (v) Reassembling the motor, servicing blower fan, and replacing bearings. (vi) Spray painting the motor with dark grey enamel paint. (vii)Transporting back to site, coupling with blower with proper alignment. (viii) Connecting LT cables, testing and commissioning complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Cost of replacement of V-belt and other minor spare parts shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

Material and labour for fixing of overhead/building roof mounted PVC tank covers of any size as per site requirement complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting all electrical connections of pumpset and dismantling horizontal / vertical split casing pump / Submersible pump of any make/model, dismantling and taking out pump shaft assembly complete for replacement of pump bearing DE or NDE, pump gasket including servicing, oiling and greasing the pumpset and assembling after replacment of defective parts and connecting to coupling testing & commissioning complete all as specified and directed for following sizes / capacities of pump :-

Supply, installation, replacement and testing of DIGITAL WATER LEVEL INDICATOR DEVICE operating on single-phase supply, having 150 mm direct digital display for showing water level in meter/centimeter or gallon for sumps/overhead tanks, with audio alarm for high and low levels and automatic alarm cut-off after 1 minute. The system shall comply with the following: (A) Operating Requirements (I) Device shall operate on 230 V ± 5%, with reliable digital display and alarms for low and high levels. (ii) The electronic circuit shall ensure stable and reliable operation.

(B) Construction (I) Electronic circuit housed in MS CRC sheet box, powder coated. (Ii) Box shall include nylon-moulded terminal strips for cable connections. (iii)The level sensing system shall use a resistance-type transducer unaffected by corrosion in water. (iv)Microswitch-based system only (sensor-type systems not acceptable). (v) Upper and lower level indicators shall use highly sensitive micro switches. (C) Installation Requirements The entire unit shall be mounted at Pump House, properly painted and terminated. Flexible copper control cable 0.5/1.5 sqmm, 3-core from sump/overhead tank to pump house shall be provided for interconnection. Note: GI conduit for protection of copper cable and cost of taking down existing unserviceable water level indicator shall be deemed included in the quoted rate.
