Excavation in trenches n. exc. 1.5 mtr wide and n. exc. 1.5 mtr in depth for laying of GI/CI pipes and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 mtr wide and not exceeding 1.5 mtr in depth for laying of GI/CI pipes and getting out in hard/dense soil complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Removing excavated material n. exc. 50m and depositing where directed at a level n. exc. 1.5 m above the starting piont complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Returning filling in and including spreading, levelling,watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and laying tubes medium grade galvanised plain end with all fittings laid in trenches of size 100 mm bore including all fittings such as bends (any type, radius or angle), tapers any type (straight, bend, increasing, decreasing or double socket etc) TEE pieces single branch, 'Y' Junction, double branch, cross collars, cap and plugs, MS flanges complete bends, TEE pieces, collars, elbow, tail piece etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note :- (i) Flanges to be provided at every 6 m length of plain end pipe or shorter length as directed by Engineer-in- Charge. Flange will be welded to the GI pipe and gasket to be provided between two flanges and will be fixed with 04 Nos of nuts and bolts (M16 Type) at each jointing. Flanges will be of IS-6392 specifications. The cost of flanges, nuts & bolts, gaskets and connecting of flanges to pipeline by welding will be deemed to be included in the quoted item rate. (ii) All standard fittings such as bends (any type, radius or angle), tapers any type (straight, bend, increasing, decreasing or double socket etc) TEE pieces single branch, 'Y' Junction, double branch, cross collars, cap and plugs, MS flanges complete bends, TEE pieces, collars, elbow, tail piece etc jointing are deemed to be included in the quoted item rate. Make of fittings - ISI marked.

(iii) Jointing of pipe line will be done through flanging only and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. (iv) Excavation and earthwork will be measured and paid separately. (v) Any special fittings to be fabricated at site as per typical site condition will be measured and paid seprately. (vi) Welding of flanges to be done by trained personnels at site and included in the quoted rate for normal flange joints for nominal length of pipes. However if the welding of pipes (other than normal flanged joint at nominal length) is required the same shall be measured and paid separately. (vii) Execution of work should be carried out without hampering the daily routine water supply.

Supply and fixing cast iron sluice valve of size 100 mm dia (PN 1.6) ISI Marked with iron wheel head both end flanged, CI /steel spindle, non rising type complete with neoprene rubber gasket, nuts, bolts and washers etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing gun metal gate valve of size 50 mm dia bore. ISI marked cast copper alloy screwed down high pressure with clutch or butterfly handle screwed both ends for iron pipe or for union and fixed complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing gun metal gate valve of size 25 mm dia, ISI marked cast copper alloy screwed down high pressure with clutch or butterfly handle screwed both ends for iron pipe or for union and fixed complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing gun metal gate valve of size 20 mm dia, ISI marked cast copper alloy screwed down high pressure with clutch or butterfly handle screwed both ends for iron pipe or for union and fixed complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for cutting of existing GI/CI water main pipe line upto 150 mm bore in position for making branch connection (insertion of GI Tee) including excavation and earth work complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note : GI fittings such as tee, elbows, collar, reducer etc joint and jointing material for fixing of cast iron fittings shall be measured and paid separately.

Material and labour for cutting of existing road for crossing of MS/DI/CI/GI pipes for laying of any size pipes including necessary exacavation and earth work including repairing the same as per existing with pre mix bituminuos carpet complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply, fabrication and fixing MS joints like bends Tee, tapers, collars, elbow, tail piece (any type) caps, plugs up to 100 mm to 150 mm bore. Complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for construction of Brick/ stone masonary valve pit chamber of size 0.5 mtr x 0.5 mtr x 0.6 mtr internal dimention) with 3.15 mm thick MS cover including 50 x 50 x 6 mm angle iron frame with hinges embedded in coping with locking arrangement and painting the MS surfaces with two coat of redoxide primer. The chamber shall be of PCC, M-7.5(1:4:8), type D2 for foundation, brick work in cement mortar, coping with PCC, M-10(1:3:6), type C1, 15 mm thick plastering in cement mortar 1:4 including necessary excavation, earth work and colour washing internally and externally surfaces complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
