SITC of Marshalling box fabricated out of 2.0 mm thick sheet steel, provided with water tight hinged doors with padlock arrangement, neoprene gasket all around door to make enclosure water and dust proof (IP-55). Space Heater, Illumination lamp, 5A switch & Socket, MCB, Viewing window, detachable gland plate completely wired, ready for external connections at the terminal blocks. All wirings shall be carried out with 1100 V grade PVC insulated stranded conductors. Power circuits if any shall be wired with stranded copper conductors of adequate sizes to suit the rated current. The minimum size shall be 2.5 sq.mm. Control, alarm and indication circuits, shall be wired with stranded copper conductor of sizes not smaller than 1.5 sq. mm. CT circuits shall be wired with stranded copper conductor of size not smaller than 4 sq.mm. including 150 mm dia. Winding temperature indicator with A&T contacts, 150 mm dia. Oil temperature indicator with A&T contacts , 150 mm dia. Magnetic Oil level Gauge ( MOG) with alarm contact, double float type Buchholz relay with isolating valves on both sides and as per IS: 3637 with A&T Contacts etc. as required.
SITC of HT metering cubical panel (as approved By DISCOMs) fabricated from 20 SWG CRCA sheet steel having two compartments & MS angle of size 60mmX 6mm. It should have provision for Following: (i) fixing Trivector / Import - Export Meter (To be supplied by DISCOMs) (ii) fixing of combined CT PT Set with Copper strip for Connection (To be supplied by DISCOMs), (iii)Test terminal Block, (iv) 6mm thick Bakelite sheet on all sides, (V) 3/6 corex 1.5 / 2.5 Sq.mm copper cable for interconnections, etc. as required. .
SITC of 11kV 630 Amps 21KA for 3 Sec. SF6 insulated, outdoor duty (IP54) , Extensible / Non extensible type Ring main unit (RMU) manually operated in combination of VCB modules and Load Break switch consisting of Copper busbar in SF6 insulated stainless steel Outdoor enclosure of thickness of 2 mm and tank of stainless steel Outdoor enclosure of thickness 3mm with manometer. The HV switchgear and control gear should be confirming to IEC-62271-100, IEC-62271-200-2003 & IEC-60694-1996. The RMU should be internal arc tested for 21KA for 1Second with IAC-AFL classification for both Cable chamber and gas tank as per IEC 62271-200 and LBS to be rated for class E3 as per IEC 62271 - 103. Vacum Interrupter should be same as used during type test of RMU. Each feeder of RMU should have voltage presence indicator. and VCB feeder should consist of 1 no. microprocessor based Self powered numerical relay with over Current/ earth fault & short circuit protection with each VCB feeder, 3 Nos. Protection CT shall be of Burden 2.5VA, ratio 50/1A, Class of Accuracy class 5P10 for O/C and E/F protection for each VCB. Load break switch feeder shall have Fault Passage indicator, Right angle boots for all the feeder Modules, Remote trip, Emergency Stop, Cable cover interlocking, Trasnformer protection tapo card etc. All the type test certificates as per IEC and CEA from Third party NABL / CPRI / ERDA accrediated lab to be submitted. (Cost of RCC Foundation / Steel Structure to be paid Extra)

Site Tests: Following tests shall be carried out on each transformer at site by OEM enginer in presence of department's site engineer:- a) Ratio test on each tapping.b) Resistance of windings at principal and all tapings.c) Insulation resistance of the winding between HV to earth / HV to LV / LV to earth.d) Vector group test.e) Magnetic Balance test. Transformer shall also be tested in CTL of discom before charging & complete installaion must be certified from Electrical Inspectorate office as per Indian Electricity rule, (CTL testing charges and Electrical Inspectorate office charges shall be reimbursed to the contractor)
Note :Manufacturer's testing laboratory should be certified by NABL and have an in house core cutting facility to ensure proper control & monitoring of quality. This is crutial to prevent the mixing of prime core materials with Second grade or defective materials. The core should be constructed from high grade, non ageing, PRIME GRADE CRGO steel with M4 Grade or Better, using silicon steel laminations, and should be of boltless design. The core and coil assembly should be undergo drying process using a highly efficient vacuum drying autoclave to remove moisture through heating and drying.
