Taking down rolling shutter of any type including cover, anchoring rod, manual gear operated type with gear box and crank handle etc repair to defective components/replacement such as pulling system to gear system, gear box, locking plate, guide channel, bracelet plate etc, reassembling the whole rolling shutter incl greasing complete, welding, drilling where required and refixing the shutter after rectification in the same opening complete area of each shutter n exc 10 sqm complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing Rolling shutter as specified below:- (a) CURTAIN PANEL The curtain panel shall be made of 0.55 mm CRCA steel coated with Zinc Aluminium (Galvalume) conforming to IS:277 and IS : 513, which makes it totally anti-corrosive and color bonded; which shall give the curtain a good sheen finish (Primary coat - Epoxy/Polyester primer coat 5-7 microns, Top coat - Polyster coating, 12-20 microns, Block coat-Epoxy/alkyd/Polyester coating 7-10 Microns). The coil shall be fed on the Roll forming machine to give the panels the desired profile (Box profile). Each panel will be 930 mm wide and to make the height of the door curtain, the panels shall be lock seamed with one another. Then the panels shall be cut to the width of the door. The door shall be fabricated as either forward or reverse, as specified (depending upon where the door curtain has to be fixed i.e. inside the opening or outside the opening) (b) BOTTOM RAIL Bottom rail shall be of aluminium profile lock seamed at the bottom of the door curtain along with weather seal which is made of PVC shall be inserted underneath the bottom rail which shall give an excellent weather and dust protection. The handle shall be provided at the centre to take the door up or down manually. (c) POLYGLIDE On either end of the curtain (widthwise), a Polyglide (a ribbon made of extendable rubber cladded with braided nylon) shall be stapled, to give the door curtain a free, smooth and noiseless gliding movement through the guides with a self-lubricated effect. The polyglide will also help in reinforcing and retaining of the profile of the door curtain. contd.......

(d) GUIDE CHANNEL For the door curtain to move up and down, at the sides, guide chanel shall be provided on either edges of the clear opening (along widthwise). These guides shall be of GI 2.00mm thick sheet conforming to IS:513, roll formed into "U" shape channels, cut to the Height of the clear opening. At three of five points of the guides, steel flats shall be welded to help the guides to be fastened to the wall with M-8 anchor fasteners. (e) BRACKET Bracket made of MS angles conforming to IS 3909 shall be provided in the heardroom areas on either side of the clear opening to support the spindle clamp and drum assembly. (f) SPINDLE ASSEMBLY (SPINDLE, SPRING, DRUM WHEEL) Spindle: The spindle shall be a hollow GI pipe of required diameter conforming to IS:1161, cut to the required length to hold the drum wheels, the spring and if required the drive unit also. The drum wheels shall be inserted one after the other into the spindle along with the springs. Spring: The springs shall be made of steel wire of suitable gauge confirming to Grade 2 of IS:4454 especially tensioned to international design. The spring, when properly tensioned, shall ensure correct bounce and retention of the door movement. One end of the spring shall be connected to the spindle clamp assembly while the other end shall be fastened to the drum wheels. Drum wheel : Drum Wheels on which the door curtain is wrapped shall be made of nylon-6 impregnated polymer with appropriate in destructive materials, which is totally anti corrosive: also no greasing of the drum wheels is required. The curtain shall be fastened to the Assembled Drum wheels with special Pop Rivets and Self-tapping Screws. (g) LOCK Just above the bottom rail, latch lock fitting shall be fastened either internally or externally depending upon the site condition or as directed by Engg-in -charge, lock the door using normal Pad locks.
