Amount

Cleaning of sewage line, manhole of any dia/bore or size by deputing one labour per day for 08 hours (a shift) and by providing/using the cleaning devices as per rule 5 and protective gear and safety devices as per rule 4 of the Prohibition of Employment as Manual Scavengers and their Rehabilitation Rules, 2013 and removing blockage if any and including removing the waste outside MD land complete all as specified and as directed. (i) Total three numbers of unskilled worker shall be detailed per day by the contractor. (ii) The contractor shall pay to his labours in their Bank Account and statement of Bank Account shall be submitted to GE for his verification while claiming interim payment. (iii) The rate quoted below the aggregate of minimum wages and minimum provident fund to be paid thereon by the contractor shall not be considered for acceptance. Minimum wages shall be as applicable for unskilled workers under scheduled employment of [Employment of Sweeping and Cleaning excluding activities prohibited under the Employment of Manual Scavengers and Construction of Dry Latrines (Prohibition) Act, 1993.] published by the Central Government under the schedule.

Material, T&P and labour for cleaning/ desludging of septic tank/ soak well of any capacity and size users using the cleaning devices as per rule 5 and protective gear and safety devices as per rule 4 of the Prohibition of Employment as Manual Scavengers and their Rehabilitation Rules, 2013 and removing the sludge and solid contents outside MD land complete all as specified and as directed.

Excavating in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth; for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. or for cable laying or not exceeding 10 sqm on plan and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth and getting out in soft/ loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of brick work or stone/boulder masonry, built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc. complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in charge.
