Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator)/ manual means over areas (exceeding 30 cm in depth, 1.5 m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan) including getting out and disposal of excavated earth lead upto 50 m and lift upto 1.5 m, as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5 m in width or 10 sqm on plan), including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift upto 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m.

Filling available excavated earth (excluding rock) in trenches, plinth, sides of foundations etc. in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering, lead up to 50 m and lift upto 1.5 m.
Felling trees of the girth (measured at a height of 1 m above ground level), including cutting of trunks and branches, removing the roots and stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material.

FINISHING

ROAD WORK
Preparation and consolidation of sub grade with power road roller of8 to 12 tonne capacity after excavating earth to an average of 22.5cm depth, dressing to camber and consolidating with road rollerincluding making good the undulations etc. and re-rolling the subgrade and disposal of surplus earthwith lead upto 50 metres.
Providing and applying tack coat using hot straight run bitumen ofgrade VG - 10, including heating the bitumen, spraying the bitumenwith mechanically operated spray unit fitted on bitumen boiler,cleaning and preparing the existing road surface as perspecifications :
On W.B.M. @ 0.75 Kg / sqm
On bituminous surface @ 0.50 Kg / sqm
2.5 cm thick bitumastic sheet with hot bitumen of approved quality,using stone chippings (60% with 12.5 mm nominal size and 40%with 10 mm nominal size) @ 1.65 cum per 100 sqm and coarsesand @ 1.65 cum per 100 sqm of road surface and with bitumen @56 kg/cum of stone chippings and @ 128 kg/cum of sand over atack coat with hot straight run bitumen, including consolidationwith road roller of 8 to 10 tonne etc. complete. (tack coat to be paid separately) :
With paving Asphalt grade VG - 30
Painting road surface marking with adequate nos of coats to giveuniform finish with ready mixed road marking paint conforming to IS: 164, on bituminous surface in white/yellow shade, including cleaningthe surface of all dirt, scales, oil, grease and foreign material etc. complete.
New work (Two or more coats)
Providing and laying bituminous macadam using crushed stoneaggregates of specified grading premixed with bituminous binder,transported to site by tippers, laid over a previously prepared surfacewith paver finisher equiped with electronic sensor to the requiredgrade, level and alignment and rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratoryand tandem rollers as per specifications to achieve the desiredcompaction and density, complete as per specificatons and directionsof Engineer-in-Charge.
50 to 100 mm average compacted thickness with bitumenof grade VG-30 @ 3.50% (percentage by weight of totalmix) prepared in Drum Type Hot Mix Plant of 40-60 TPHcapacity.
Scarifying the existing bituminous road surface to a depth of 50 mmand disposal of scarified material within all lifts and lead upto 1km(by mechanical means).
Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate(size range 53 mm to 0.075 mm ) to wet mix macadam (WMM)specification including premixing the material with water at OMC infor all leads & lifts, laying in uniform layers with mechanicalpaverfinisher in sub- base / base course on well prepared surfaceand compacting with vibratory roller of 8 to 10 tonne capacity toachievethe desired density, complete as per specifications anddirections of Engineer-in-Charge.
