Repair and maintenance of electric OH lines, UG cable, LT panels and allied works of Zone-II area and outstation under GE Gurdaspur

Excavation in trenches in soft/ loose soil including cutting road surfaces n.exc 1.5 mtr wide and n.exc. 1.5 mtr in depth for poles, stay, cable, pipe etc and getting out all as specified.

All as per item No.02 above but depth excd 1.5 mtr and n. exc 3 mtr.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling,watering and well ramming in layers each n.exc 25 cm thick in soft loose soil all as specified.

Removal of excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtrs and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and lay brick common burnt sub class "B" old size (compressive strength not less than 75 kg per sqcm) for protection of cable laid in trenches for under ground cable all as specified.

M & L for sand cushioning trenches using fine sand to under ground cable, laid in two layers 15cm before laying the cable & 8cm after laying the cable complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for road cutting including excavation returning filling in spreading leveling , well ramming in layers, soiling with, broken boudders/ stones, WHB 7.5 cm thick coarse aggregate received from dismentling the existing road, premix, carpeting 25mm thick using mady mate material . rolled & compacted for road patch repair work, section/ cross section area of cuttng complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cable protection GI tubing light grade fixed long the pole/under road/along the wall of size 100mm bore with necessary clamps all as directed.

M&L for cable protection GI tubing light grade fixed long the pole/under road/along the wall of size 80mm bore with necessary clamps all as directed.

M&L for cross arms in replacement , bracing, supports, clamps and brick plates, fabricated from staructural steel section including nut bolts washers including welding, bending , cold or hot drilling holes for bolts in any shape or size as indicated in drawings or as directed, including two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide all specified.

M & L lightening arrestor in replacement expulsion type for out door use complete with all fitting transmission class discharge capacity 65 Kilo Amp suitable for 11000 volts including bracket, clamps, nuts, bolts washer and connection to each wire complete all as specified. Make-Rashtria/Oblum.

Surface dressing by cutting grass, thorn bushes and congress grass upto the root level surrounding the installation incl the same not less than 200 mtr away all as directed by Engineer- in -Charge.

Stringing/ Stretching of existing ACSR conductor of any size any type as required sag fixed on OH line incl unwindinding the conductor & insulators/cross arms on poles properly binding with aluminum all as specified and directed.

M & L aluminium conductor steel reinforced (ACSR) over size of ferret, weasels, mink, beaver etc fixing stretching and jumpering joining with aluminium wire complete all as specified.

Supply and laying in replacement XLPE insulated armoured (under ground) heavy duty electic cablewith stranded aluminum conductor 1100 volts grade of cross- sectional area 240 Sqmm 3.5 core laid in trenches/ducts/through pipes/in floor road/along the pole etc all as specified & directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note : (a) Excavation earth work, brick protection and cushioning shall be measured & paid separately.

Cutting/ trimming of tree branches of any width/ girth upto 3 mtr distance on both sides of HT/LT over load lines including collection and depositing the retrived timber at a place as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note :- (i) Each span have a distance 50 mtr approximately. (ii) All cutting branches of tree shall be thrown away/ burnt at approximately 200 to 500 mtr away as directed.

M&L for repairing of LT pannel of any make type/ size an including Gas/ Arc welding, fill up rusted patches with 3mm MS sheet lugs, Lt aluminium conductor cable lead and bus bar of suitable capacity, front and rear door lock set replace, RYB and black colour wise insulation tape for bus bar, nut bolt, washers , hinges, grinding and scraping of old paint/ rust etc by wire bursh from body of LT pannel and apply base material for smooth surface and applying 2 coat of synthetic enameled spray paint over one coat of primer after denting etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L Earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 600cmx600cmx6mm thick burried directly in ground ( earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below the ground level) with edge of the plate not less then 1.5 mtr below the ground level, connection to GI galvanised iron strip 25mm x 4mm as earthing lead by means of bolts/ nut & washers of GI or steel all shown in electrical plate No 5 of SSr Part-I connection to feeder piller all as specified including watewring GI Pipe 40mm bore medium grade PCC chamber using PCC 1:3:6 type C2 C1 cover funnel & wire mesh complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L of painting to LT/HT steel tublar pole with one coat of aluminium paint complete above ground level including all MS fitting street light brackets MS flate angle iron GI pipe etc and numbering of poles as marked by existing number with correct size including removing and cleaning of old panted surface all as specified and directed
