MAINTENANCE SERVING FOR GRASS CUTTING AND REMOVAL OF SPECIFIED AREA USING JUNGLE JIM HAND GRASS CUTTING MACHINES AND JCB FOR BUSH CUTTING AT AIRFIELD INS RAJALI ARAKKONAM

Material and labour for cutting of grass,shrubs,vegitation,bush,weed by mechanically operated slasher Jungle jim with tractor where ever required including removing of waste material obtained by cutting & cleaning (both sides) of runway and Parallel taxi track (PTT) both side edges and removal of the spoil exc 250m but not 500 m and depositing where as directed by Engineer-in-charge. The under mentioned are included of the quoted rates : - Note 1:- Contractor will arrange minimum all the time during the execution of the work: mechanical slasher(set of two tractor & two Jungle Jim) & one tipping trolley of appropriate capacity with petrolium oil lubricants( POL) & two MT driver and one helper. Note 2:-The minimum out put of each mechanical tractor with jungle jim for a day is 5000.00 sqm.

Material and labour for cutting of grass,shrubs,vegitation,bush,weed or surface dressing by brush cutter operated slasher where ever required including removing waste of material obtained from cutting & cleaning (both side) from the edges of Runway and PTT and removal of the spoil beyond 250m but not exc 500 m and deposited where as directed. Note1:- Contractor will arrange 07 numbers brush cutter machines and operator with POL. Note2:-The minimum out put of each brush cutter for one day is 500 sqm after removal of spoil up to the entire satisfactory of engineer -in- charge cosidered as one day.

Material and labour for cutting bushes/ shrubs by JCB where ever required including removing of waste material obtained by cutting & cleaning (both sides) of runway and Parallel taxi track (PTT) to a distance exc 250m but not 500 m and depositing where as directed by Engineer-in-charge. The under mentioned are included of the quoted rates : - Note 1:- Contractor will arrange minimum all the time during the execution of the work 01 JCB with petrolium oil lubricants( POL) & driver.

Surface dressing n exc 15 cm deep in soft/ loose soil including clearing away all grass vegetation, saplings, shrubs, brushwood, undergrowth, roots, and removing rubbish upto a distance of 50 metres outside the periphery of the area under clearance. NOTE for Item no 1 to 4 : Note 1:- All works to be executed inside technical area .The site for the work will be available in piece meal and also may be in non flying days. No claim for nonavailability of site in every working days will be entertained. Contractor shall quote his rates considering the above bottlenecks. Note 2:-The log sheet cum -register will be maintained by the contractor for record of work done and running of the tractors ,This register will be signed by contractor ,JE(civil), Engineer-in- charge and User's of ATC. Note 3:-The quoted rate by contractor is including of all T&P ,POL,Operators ,helpers as mentioned above. Note 4:- Rates for idle charges for machinery and operators will be considered to be inclusive by the contractor while quoting the rates. Note 5:-The contractor shall take all possible safety measures to safe guard his work man and their employees are wearing all necessary personal protective equipments(PPE)such as safety helmets,protective footwear,googles and safety spectacles,gloves,reflective clothes, including masks against COVID-19, etc. Note 6:- In case of any accident / mis-happening the contractor shall be liable to pay compensation if any to the work man, the Govt will not have any liability on these matters and contractor is advised to quote the tender accordinly cosidering all the aspects. Note 6:-Breakdown of vehicles at airfield shall be avoided. For that the vehicles used shall be in good running condition and not be older than 03 years
