Eligibility Criteria

Tenders from Joint ventures are not acceptable.

Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

Bidders shall ensure upload of relevant document certifying his/her status as Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/other reserved category as prescribed in the tender document.

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

The bidders agrees and abides for all the terms and conditions specified in the tender document laid down by the KOMUL

The bidder is required to ensure browser compatibility of the computer well in advance to the last date and time for receipt of tenders. The departments shall not be responsible for non-accessibility of e-Procurement portal due to internet connectivity issues and technical glitches at bidders end

During technical evaluation, if the employer finds that any certificates / information furnished is false, such bidders will be disqualified and barred from participation in the bid

The contractor is responsible for any damages due to natural calamities. KOMUL will not give any compensation for until the completion of maintenance period

The amount put to tender is exclusive of GST. GST will be paid to the tendered amount separately as per prevailing rates. The contractor shall quote the rates excluding GST. The bidder shall study the Tender document carefully and quote the rates

The contractor has to produce all the original documents which ever uploaded in the e portal/tender at the time of technical evaluation

The contractor shall obtain insurance coverage for all the workers deployed for this work.

The intending bidders are requested to note that they should abide by the detailed instructions and conditions contained in the Tender documents and further modifications done if any.

Corrigendum/modification/corrections, if any, will be published in the e-procurement website only

The Tenderers shall obtain the work done certificate in the prescribed format from the competent Authority not below the Rank of Executive Engineer (District level Officer) and scan the original Certificate and attach the scanned file Certificate. Original Certificates shall be produced to the Managing Director KOMUL during technical evaluation

The bidder should maintain register of labours deployed and wages paid for the workers and shall produce the documents whenever called for by the competent authority. Remittance towards PF shall be commensurate with the labour component of the work involved. The bidder shall give an undertaking that they would abide by the provisions of employees provident fund and shall remit PF of labourers to the respective PF offices or else KOMUL have the right to deduct the PF amount from the work bills and remit the same to respective PF offices. The contractor shall quote his rates inclusive of PF as per the applicable rate as issued by the PF department from time to time

All the items include all Leads and Lifts, Loading and Unloading, Cost of materials, Labour, HOM of machineries as per Standard specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge of the work and other incidental items which are necessary for the successful completion of the work. The Item Rate quoted shall include the Royalty charges on Construction materials and other taxes as applicable

The Increase in GST shall not be paid in the extended period of contract for which the contractor alone is responsible for delays as determined by the authority while granting the extension of time

The tenderers shall scan the original ownership document/ lease / hire commitment/Agreement scanned file to be attached to the Bid. The Original Documents shall be produced & copies attested by Notary/Officer not below the rank of Executive Engineer and shall be submitted to the The Managing Director, KOMUL

The Tenderer must submit uploaded documents duly attested by Gazzeted Officer not below the rank of Executive Engineer and also produce original documents to the The Managing Director, KOMUL for confirmation.

The contractors are instructed to submit only relevant information with records as required and specified in qualification criteria. Any junk, superfluous and unnecessary documents if uploaded will treated as misleading and such tenders are liable to be rejected

The defect liability period for the work is 12 (Twelve) calendar months from completion date of same work (Final bill date).

It is mandatory that the contractor has to use only specified makes of materials for construction work given by KOMUL

The measurements for recording bill will be taken jointly along with contractor and engineer in charge from KOMUL and the same shall be certified

The contractor has to furnish quality control test reports and third party inspection reports from government/ govt. approved agencies/reputed institutes as per standard procedure at his own cost

All other terms and conditions are as per tender document

Bidder is solely liable for safety of workmen and KOMUL is not responsible for any of mishaps, theft of materials or any disputes while carrying out the works throughout completion and handing over.

Bidders are encouraged to visit work site and inspect the works of tender.
