WOOD & PVC WORK

Providing wood work in frames of doors, windows, clerestory windows and other frames,wrought framed and fixed in position with hold fast lugs or with dash fastener of required dia and length (hold fast lugs or dash fastener shall be paid for separately : .(a)Local best quality Teak wood.

Providing and fixing panelled or panelled and glazed shutters for doors, windows and clerestory windows including ISI marked M.S butt hinges bright finished of required size with necessary screws, excluding panelling which will be paid for separately, all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.(a) Local best quality Teak wood.(35mm thick).

Providing and fixing 25 mm thick shutters for cupboards etc. including ISl marked black enamelled M.S. butt hinges with necessary screws :Panelled or panelled and glazed shutters Ist class Teak wood

FLOORING

Providing and laying Vitrified tiles in floor in different sizes (thickness to be specified by the manufacturer) with water absorption less than 0.08% and onforming to IS:15622, of approved brand & manufacturer, in all colours and shade, laid on 20 mm thick cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement: 4Kanhaighat coarse sand) jointing with grey cement slurry @3.3 kg/sqm including grouting the joints with white cement and matching pigments etc. The tiles must be cut with the zero chipping diamond cutter only . Laying of tiles will be done with the notch trowel, plier, wedge, clips of required thickness, leveling system and rubber mallet for placing the tiles gently and easily..(i) Double charge vitrified tile polished finish of size (a) Size of Tile 600 x 600 mm

ROOFING

Providing and fixing 5mm colour coated structural glazing with black anodized nose aluminium section with 5m thick tepered glass (sub frame to be fixed on mother frame) etc. complete as per the architectural drawings and the direction of engineer-in-charge in aluminium door, window, ventilator shutters and partitions etc.with EPDM rubber/neoprene gasket etc. complete as per the architectural drawings and the directions of engineer-in-charge including cost of aluminuim frame work and sealant in between frame and wall joints With structural glass panes of 5.5mm thickness.

Providing and fixing polycarbonate roofing sheet of approved quality including framework complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and fixing stainless steel(Grade 304) railing made of Hollow tubes, channels, plates etc., including welding, grinding, buffing, polishing and making curvature (wherever required) and fitting wih frosted glass (10mm thick & 1m height ) with necessary stainless steel nuts and bolts complete, i/c fixing the railing with necessary accessories & stainless steel dash fasteners , stainless steel bolts etc., of required size, on the top of the floor or the side of waist slab with suitable arrangement as per approval of Engineer-in-charge.

ALUMINIUM WORKS

Providing and fixing aluminium work for doors, windows, ventilators and partitions with extruded built up standard tubular sections/ appropriate Z sections and other sections of approved make conforming to IS: 733 and IS: 1285, fixing with dash fasteners of required dia and size, including necessary filling up the gaps at junctions, i.e. at top, bottom and sides with required EPDM rubber/ neoprene gasket etc. Aluminium sections shall be smooth, rust free, straight, mitred and jointed chanically wherever required including cleat angle, Aluminium snap eading for glazing / paneling, C.P. brass / stainless steel screws, all complete as per architectural drawings and the directions of Engineer-in-charge. (Glazing, paneling to be paid for separately)

For shutters of doors, windows & ventilators including providing and fixing hinges/ pivots and making provision for fixing of fittings wherever required including the cost of EPDM rubber / neoprene gasket required (Fittings shall be paid for separately)

Powder coated aluminium (minimum thickness of powder coating 50 micron)

Providing and fixing glazing in aluminium door, window, ventilator shutters and partitions etc. with EPDM rubber/neoprene gasket etc. complete as per the architectural drawings and the directions of engineer-in-charge . (Cost of aluminium snap beading shall be paid in basic item):With float glass panes of 4.0 mm thickness

Providing and fixing fluted pvc louvers wall panel of approved quality ( i/c framework complete) as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

FINISHING

12mm cement plaster of mix 1:4 (1 cement : 4 Kanaighat coarse sand).

15mm cement plaster on rough side of single or half brick wall of mix (i) 1:4 (1 cement : 4 Kanaighat coarse sand).

Finishing walls with textured exterior paint of rquired shade:New work (two or more coats applied @ 3.28 ltr/10 sqm over and including base coat of water proofing cement paint applied @ 2.20 kg/10 sqm)

Providing and applying white cement based putty of average thickness 1mm,of approved brand and manufacturer, over the plastered wall surface to prepare the surface even and smooth complete.

Applying one coat of water thinnable cement primer of approed brand and manufacture on wall surafce- water thinnable cement primer

Wall painting with plastic emulsion paint of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade: two or more coats on new work

Varnishing with varnish of approved brand and manufacture:Two or more coats glue sizing with spar varnish or an under coat of flatting varnish.

Painting steel work with deluxe multi surface paint of required shade.Two or more coat applied @ 0.90 ltr/10 sqm over an under coat of primer @0.75 ltr/10sqm of approved brand or manufacture

MISCELLANEOUS

Making plinth protection 50 mm thick in cement concrete 1: 3 : 6 (1 cement : 3 kanhaighat coarse sand : 6 graded stone aggrt. of 20 mm nominal size) over 75mm bed of dry brick ballast 40mm nominal size well rammed and consolidated and grouted with fine sand i/c finishing the top smooth.

2nd class brick masonary 15x15cm open surface drain in c.m. 1: 5(1cem : 5 kanhaighat c/sand) i/c earth excavation 10cm bed c.c.1: 5 : 10 1cem : 5 kanhaighat c/sand :10gr.st.aggrt.40mm n/size i/c 12mm thick cement plaster 1: 3 (1cem : 3 kanhaighat c/sand) with a floating coat of neat cement inside & outside as per standard design.

Supplying and applying Dr. Fixit primeseal (after making dilution with water in the ratio 2:1 ( 2 primesial : 1 water ) on new roof at 1 litre per 9.3 sqm after cleaning the surface using wire brush or approprite tools (surface to be washer off with water)and allow drying of 2 -3hours before applying Dr. Fixit New coat over this coat as per direction of the Engineer - in -charge.

Supplying and applying Dr. Fixit New coat on primeseal roof surface in three different coats at 1 litre per 1.95 sqm . per coat laying fibre mesh with adhesive primer ( consuning 20 litre for 80 sheet of 3 x 10 m fibre mesh ) after 1 st coat of new coat 2nd coat of newcoat should be applied immediately after laying of fibre mesh 3rd coat of Dr. Fixit newcoat should be applied after allowing drying of the 2nd coat for 6 to 8 hrs. Each coat should be applied in perpendicular direction to the underlaying layer. the entire process should be carried out under strict supervision and direction of the Engineer - in -charge.
