Lining up One time contract for Construction of RCC Foundation for Storage Tank for Molten Sulphur, Unloading Ramp and Structural Steel Shed at New AN Melt Plant at Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilizers Limited

Excavation for foundations, substructures, basements, tanks, sumps, walls, chambers, manholes, trenches, poles, pits & general building works in all types of soils, vegetable earth, soft murum, running sand, shingle, turf clay, loam, peat, ash, shale, slag, chalk, garbage, muddy/ marshy/ slushy soil, marine clay, reclaimed land etc. as directed and as per site requirement from ground level, including dressing/ trimming the sides, leveling and ramming of bottoms, dewatering, removing rank vegetation, backfilling in layers ,watering, consolidating, compacting, stacking the selected material in measurable heaps for future use within RCF space or disposing within RCF premises as directed including loading, unloading, leveling,shoring, strutting etc. complete as directed by Engineer in-Charge. The rate includes the handling/supporting the existing utilities such as cables, drains, pipes, water mains etc.

Providing & Laying dry stone Rubble Soling with average 230 mm size hard stone set in regular lines, handpacked and interstices thoroughly filled with small chips including filling in with good quality murum brought from outside, compacting with iron rammers, watering, sand spreading 12mm thk. layer of grit on top etc complete as directed by Engineer In Charge. (Note: The rate includes the royalty and other taxes if any). (Note: The rate includes the royalty and other taxes if any) If the voids are filled by RCF material , the rate shall be reduced by Rs. 270/- per Cum * If RCF rubble is used , the rate shall be reduced further by Rs. 1460/- per Cum

Providing and laying in position ready mixed plain cement concrete of M20 grade, using fly ash and cement content as per approved design mix from Engineer-in-charge and fly ash conforming to grade I of IS 3812 (Part-1) only be used as part replacement of OPC as per IS 456 and uniform blending with cement is to be ensured in accordance with clauses 5.2 and 5.2.1 of IS: 456- 2000 in the items of ready mixed concrete and manufactured in fully automatic batching plant and transported to site of work in transit mixer for all leads, having continuous agitated mixer, manufactured as per mix design of specified grade for plain cement concrete work, including laying and curing, including the cost of centering, shuttering and finishing, including cost of curing, admixtures in recommended proportions as per IS : 9103 to accelerate/ retard setting of concrete, improve workability without impairing strength and durability as per direction of the Engineer - in - charge. (RMC-Min.cement content @ 260 kg/cum, In case Site mix permitted Min.cement content @ 300 kg/cum ).

Providing and laying in position ready mixed design mix M-30 grade cement concrete for reinforced cement concrete work of Foundations, footings, bases of columns, rafts, plinth , using cement content as per approved design mix, including pumping of concrete to site of laying and the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and excluding reinforcement, including admixtures in recommended proportions as per IS: 9103 to accelerate, retard setting of concrete, improve workability without impairing strength and durability as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.The Mix design as per particular specfications shall be got approved by Engineer-in-Charge before execution of the item.The rate shall include cost of all specified materials and operations at all levels and heights, including the cost of centering, shuttering and and excluding reinforcement which shall be paid under relevant item.(Note :- Min. Cement content shall be @ 400 kg/cum . RMC loading at RMC plant and start unloading at site shall be within two hours . No extra will be paid nor any amount will recovered on account of variation of cement in mix design as per specifications for controlled concrete).

Providing and fixing in position steel bars reinforcement of various diameters for R.C.C. pile, pile caps, footings,raft,retaining wall,shear wall, lift wall, foundations, slabs, beams, columns, canopies, staircases, newels, chajjas, lintels, pardies, coping, fins, arches, etc. as per detailed designs, drawings and bar bending schedules,including straightening, cutting, bending, hooking the bars, binding with wires or tack welding, supporting as required etc. all complete at all levels. Corrosion Resistant Steel (500 CRS D) TATA, SAIL, JSW, RNIL, VIZAG or equivalent to be approved before procurement.

Supply, fabricating and fixing at desired location using hot rolled sections and MS Plates of grade Fe 250 as per specifications and approved fabrication drawings ( if required), which are to be prepared by Contractor and got approved from Engineer, transporting to site and erecting structural steel members for all heights & at all levels including provision of necessary erection bolts, fixing bolts, nuts, washers, cleats, stiffeners, gussets, base plate, and all necessary fixtures and operations like preheating as per specifications, straightening, bending , cutting, drilling, grinding, machining if specified, welding, grinding and removing the welding burr and preparing surface for painting with wire brush cleaning and applying one coat of primer and two coats EPOXY finish paint after fabrication including touching up after erection etc complete as directed by Engineer In Charge. (The qty. of gusset plates, base plates, bolts shall be measured in M.T. for this item.) Structural steel (TATA/SAIL/JINDAL/RINL make or equivalent) to be arranged by contractor and paint shall be supplied by RCF on non-chargeable basis. (Including necessary MS pipe scaffolding)

Providing and fixing 6 mm thick Non-asbestos high impact Polypropylene reinforced cement corrugated sheet of approved make conforming to IS: 14871-2000 laying the same in position as per the stipulation in IS: 3007-1991 using 8m dia polymer coated iron L or J hook bolts, galvanized iron & bituminous washers, or self drilling fasteners and EPDM washers, galvanized iron clamps, nuts and bolts etc. complete and as directed.(Net Area covered by sheeting will be measured. Laps will not be paid separately) (Brands- Everest, Hi-tech, or equivalent. Profile of sheet to be approved before delivery.)

Providing and fixing colour coated Galvalume/Zincalume ridge. The feed material shall be manufactured from AZ 150(min. 150 gms/sq.mt total on both sides) Zincalume / Galvalumesheets of minimum yield strength of 550 MPa, 0.45 mm BMT, ( 0.5 mm TCT excluding paint coating thickness), metallic hot dip coated with Al- Zn alloy (55% Aluminium, 43.5% Zinc, 1.5% Si ) as per AS 1397 / IS15961 & painted./coatings .The sheet shall have a total coating thickness of 35 microns paint system of 20 microns on exposed surface and 5 micron reverse polyester coat on back surface over 5 micron primer coat on both surfaces. The paint system shall have stable inorganic pigments for color durability. The product will be fastened using no.12-14x65 mm (or as per design requirement ), mechanically coated with 25 micron Zn-Sn alloy or hot dipped zinc coated with min 40 micron hex self-drilling fasteners/PVC coated 8mm dia hooks with EPDM washer of approved make.

Providing, fabricating and fixing hand railing with G.I. Pipe of height 1.05 mt with 40 mm dia ( NB) pipes for vertical post @ 1.50 mt c/c spacing or as per site conditions. Horizontal pipe 40 mm dia (NB) at top rail & 25 mm dia (NB) at mid rail and Toe plate 100 mm x 6mm at bottom level to be provided. All hand railing shall be painted with one coat of red oxide primer and two coats of synthetic enalmel paint. All material in contractors scope. All pipes shall be of medium duty.
