RE-TENDER FOR TERRACE WATERPROOFING WORKS

Supplying and erecting protective net made up of Nylon rope with rope dia. of 10mm. having mesh size of 75mmx75mm with an overlay of 1" square nylon mesh with an additional overlay of good quality hassien cloth at the 2nd floor level along the building line with an average 3m. width from the building line with necessary MS supporting structures, including costs of all materials, labour charges, removing & disposal of the net after completion of the work etc. complete.

Dismantling existing China mosaic type waterproofing layer from terrace by either mechanical or manual means, as required, including stacking material within 50 metres lead For thickness of tiles 10 mm to 25 mm, without damaging the RCC Slab . The rate should include cost of all materials , labour charges etc. complete.

Repair to plaster of thickness 12mm to 20 mm in patches of area 2.5 sqm and under or for continous stretch for parapet wall , including cutting the patch in proper shape, raking out joints and preparing and plastering the wall surface with white cement based polymer modified self curing mortar with provision of water dripping mould at the bottom of parapet wall (just above the terrace surface coving/watta) including disposal of rubbish, labour charges curing etc. all complete as per the direction of Bank's Engineer-In-Charge.

Filling all the minor cracks upto 3 mm cracks with non-shrink compound using spatula or putty knife as per manufacturer specifications (Sealing of Plaster, IPS and non structural cracks including cots of all materials, labour charges etc. complete.

Chipping and removing the damaged/debonded concrete surface of the structural members using chisels/mild mechanical instruments and clean the surface thoroughly with potable water including removing the dirts /lose particles with electric blower and keep dry the surface for 24 hours. Providing, mixing and applying bonding coat of approved make of adhesive on chipped portion of RCC as per manufacture's specifications. Before applying the bonding coat, treat the exposed reinforcement if any using the rust removing chemical of approved make and applying Zinc rich epoxy primer of approved make as per the manufacurer's specification. The rate including costs of all materials, labour charges, curing, removing the debris from site to dumpyard in the premeises etc.complete in all respect. SBR Polymer (@10% of cement weight) modified cementitious bond coat @ 2.2 kg cement per sqm of surface area.

Providing, mixing and applying SBR polymer of approved make) modified Cement mortar in proportion of 1:4 (1 cement: 4 medium graded quartz or silt/clay/organic matter free Gujarat river sand with polymer minimum 2% by wt. of cement used) for thickness upto 30mm with 12 mm average thickness per layer as per manufacturer's specifications and directions of Engineer-in-charge including costs of all materials , labour charges, curing etc. complete.

Cleaning the terrace surface in all respect by removing the dirt and debris manually and mechanically using electric blower. Applying bonding coat of approved make on the prepared surface as per the manufacurer's specification. Then, grading roof having average thickness of 50 mm for water proofing treatment with Cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 well graded Gujarat river coarse sand : 4 well graded stone aggregate of size 20mm down ) mixed with waterproofing additives of approved make as per the manufacture's specifications including costs of all materials, labour charges, curing etc. complete.

Providing and applying fibre reinforced elastomeric liquid water proofing membrane with resilient acrylic polymers having Sun Reflectivity Index (SRI) of 105 on top of concrete roof as well as parapet wall in three coats @10.76 litre/ 10 sqm. One coat of self-priming of elastomeric waterproofing liquid (dilution with water in the ratio of 3:1) and two coats of undiluted elastomeric waterproofing liquid (dry film thickness of complete application/system not less than 500 microns). The operation shall be carried out after scrapping and properly cleaning the surface to remove loose particles with wire brushes/electric blower, complete in all respect as per the manufacturer's specifications and direction of Engineer- in-Charge. The rate includes costs of all materials, labour charges, curing etc.complete.

Providing the brickwork pedestals of size about 600mmx300mmx300mm @1200mm c/c across the gap of about 3m on the terrace. The brickwork shall be properly plastered with cement mortar 1:4. Then, lifting/shifting the existing water supply pipes laid on the terrace surface and placing it on the brick pedestals without any damage and clamped properly on the pedestals. These sets of pedestals shall be provided at 8 locations. The work also includes shifting and laying water supply pipes without any damage of pipes and place on the cross beam nearby at 2 locations and clamping properly on the terrace floor. The work shall be carried out as per the directions of NABARD (Bank) Engineer-in-charge. The rate includes costs of replacement of damged plumbing joints/couplings/fittings of pipes if any required while shifting the pipes, costs of clamps , costs of all materials, labour charges, curing etc. complete.

Disposal of building rubbish / malba / similar unserviceable, dismantled or waste materials by mechanical means, including loading, transporting, unloading to approved municipal dumping ground or as approved by Engineer-in-charge, beyond 50 m. of initial lead, for all leads including all lifts involved.
