Construction of 240 Nos. of D type residential quarters 6 blocks of G plus 10 floors including External services

Earth work excavation by mechanical means(hydraulic excavator)/manual means in over areas, rafts, foundation, trenches, roads etc in all types of soils below ground level of all depths including shoring, strutting, bailing / pumping of water, leveling, ramming the bottom of excavation, refilling with selected excavated materials in the sides of the foundation in layers and refilling the areas as directed with the balance available excavated earth (filling/compacting in layers of not more than 150 mm thick compacted layer, each layer well rammed, watered and consolidated) etc complete all as per drawings and specifications.

Earth work excavation by mechanical means(hydraulic excavator)/manual means upto a height of 6m (appx) above natural ground level in over areas/high earth profiled areas for levelling the surface/ area grading works etc in all types of soils and including removing existing concrete retaining walls, stone pitching etc and transporting and depositing the excavated earth/debris in the areas within a lead of 2Km as directed etc complete all as per drawings and specifications.

Earth work excavation by mechanical means(hydraulic excavator)/manual means in Soft rock in over areas, raft , foundation, trenches etc including shoring, shrutting wherever required bailing/pumping of water, leveling the bottom of excavation and refilling with selected excavated materials in the sides of the foundation in layers and refilling the areas as directed with the selected balance available excavated earth (filling/compacting in layers of not more than 150 mm thick compacted layer, each layer well rammed, watered and consolidated) etc complete all as per drawings and specifications

Earth work excavation by mechanical means(hydraulic excavator)/manual means in hard rock by chiselling (blasting prohibited) in over areas, raft, foundation, trenches etc including shoring, shrutting wherever required bailing/pumping of water, leveling the bottom of excavation and stacking the excavated material at places as directed within a lead of 2 kms as per drawings and specifications (Only stack measurement will be made and paid for)

Conducting static plate load test on soil as per IS-1888 of latest revision and specifications at the founding level including cost of all equipments, materials, labours and preparation and submission of test report. [ Estimated SBC is 300 KN/Sqm].

Providing Pre-construction anti-termite treatment as per IS-6313 using chlorpyriphos emulsifiable concentrate 20 % with 1 % concentration as per specifications. Note: The contractor shall furnish from the agency carrying out this work under this item a written guarantee in favour of NPCIL for the satisfactory performance of the treatment for a period of five years.

Filling with selected earth brought from a lead of 2Km (source as directed by NPCIL inside colony). Selected earth to be loaded and transported from the source using mechanical means (Excavator & tipper etc) and filling/compacting in each layers of not more than 150 mm thick compacted layer, each layer well rammed, watered and consolidated all as per drawings and specifications.

Providing and filling with crushed sand of approved quality as per drawings and specifications

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate (size range53 mm to 0.075 mm) to wet mix macadam (WMM) specification including premixing the material with water at OMC in mechanical mix plant, carriage of mixed material by tipper to site, for all leads & lifts, laying in uniform layers with mechanical paver finisher/manual means in sub- base / base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller of 8 to 10 tonne capacity for open area works & other vibratory arrangements inside building areas to achieve the desired density, complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-Charge, as per clause 406 of MORT & H specifications complete in all respects.
