REPAIR/ REPLACEMENT OF LT POLES, POLE PAINTING AND ALLIED ITEMS INCL SUB STATION MAINT AT AGE E/M (E/S) UNDER GE (U) MEERUT.

Taking down old unsv LT pole of any size and type and Supplying, transporting to site, erecting, and fixing in position, steel tubular swaged and welded poles (in replacement) of Overall height 9 metres, type 410 SP-31, IS-2713 marked, with cast iron base plate (fillet welded to poles), pole cap / finial taper plug, bolts, nuts, washers etc, including painting on the outside with two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer on exposed surfaces and black bituminous paint on steel surface embeded in concrete and painting 05 nos band /strips with fluorescent , Black/ Red/ White/ Green and Black synthetic enamel paint ( 30 cm wide each) at a distance of 30 cm from plinth block and numbering of poles, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.(Note:- Poles shall be swaged and welded at manufacturer’s factory and not at site. The inner surface shall be factory painted)

S&F including testing and commissioning of XLPE insulated, armoured heavy duty electric cable with aluminium conductor, 1100 volts grade, through pipes, induct, on poles, in trenches etc complete all as specified & directed of following sizes :- (Note: earth work, sand and bricks shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items of BOQ)

M&L for taking down of LT cable of any size and make and remove from site complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth and getting out in Soft/Loose soil including trimming sides and bottom of trenches complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and for each additional 1.5 m or part thereof in depth beyond the first 1.5 m and getting out in Soft/Loose soil including trimming sides and bottom of trenches complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for river washed and screened, dry sand for filling in trenches below and around underground cables (8cm below the cable and 15 cm above the cable. Punned thickness must not be less than 18cm) for cushioning of cables complete all as specified and directed.

M & L Bricks for protection cover to under ground cable (with standard size fly ash bricks) with width equal to length of brick laid dry and flat abutting each other with gaps between adjacent brick not exceeding 10mm complete all as specified & directed.

Returning, filling-in, including spreading, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick each, in soft /loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cement concrete type C2 1:3:6 using 40mm graded stone aggregate in foundations, filling and mass concrete (around the poles in pit) complete all as specified and directed..

M&L for cement concrete type B1 1:2:4 using 20mm graded stone aggregate for coping of poles including necessary framework and fair finishing of exposed surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cement concrete type D2 1:4:8 using 40mm graded stone aggregate in foundations (below pole) complete all as specified and directed.

S& F in replacement of aluminum conductor steel reinforced (ACSR), ISI marked, laid overhead on poles, including straining and stretching binding and jointing the conductor with and including 14 SWG binding wire complete, including taking down all as specified and directed

Supply and fix in replacement of pin type insulator, porcelain, vitreous white, size 100mm height and 65mm dia, 1100 Volts grade, ISI marked, including one galvanised mild steel spindle, two Nos GI washers and one GI nut complete,all as specified and directed.

M&L for dismantling of insulators any type, any size complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Surface Dressing/Cleaning for 2/4 pole structure area / transformer plinth area / sub station surrounding area including removing of tree branches, small tree, plants and bushes etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Triming of tree branches (tree prunning) up to 75mm dia to clear the route of LT over head lines arround the 3 Mtr from the external conductors including removing the cut branches from site and depositing at places complete all as specified & directed.(i) Shutdown wherever required shall be taken in writtig from Engr-in-Charge.

Supply & fixing in replacement of galvanised steel tubing medium grade (ISI marked) for protection of under ground cable on poles/ walls along with under road crossing etc of 50 mm bore complete all as specified & directed.

Supply & fixing in replacement of galvanised steel tubing medium grade (ISI marked) for protection of under ground cable on poles/ walls along with under road crossing etc of 80 mm bore complete all as specified & directed.

M & L for boring in any type of soil under road 1.5 Mtr below the top surface of road by conventional method complete for passing through 40mm to 100mm dia GI pipe and filling earth after laying of pipe including disposal of surplus soil complete all as specified and directed. NOTE :- Pipe will be measured and paid for separatily. Any damage to existing cables of any type will made good by the tenderer without any extra payment.

Scraping, cleaning and preparation of old surfaces of steel tubular pole (9 Mtr long) complete and M&L for preparation of old painted surfaces of erected steel tubular swaged poles / Rails/Girder poles of LT over head line ( Except embedded portion), 9 M long including all MS work mounted on pole, earth protection pipe and providing one coat of aluminium paint and providing 05 Nos bands/ straps with two coats of Retro Reflective paint (black, green and red 20 cm wide each) from top of plinth block and numbering of poles with white Retro Reflective paint on yellow Retro Reflective paint background (50mm wide and 100mm high letters) including encircling the letters or figures complete all as specified & directed.

M&L in replacement of plate earthing for sub station equipments complete with galvanised mild steel plate electrode 60 cm x 60 cm x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground vertically (in earth pit not less than 2.5 m below normal ground level) with the top edge of the earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 m below normal ground level, the earth electrode surrounded by adequate quantity of charcoal dust and salt to a packed thickness of 15 cm on all sides and incl GI earth strip 32 x 6 mm bolted (with GI nuts, bolts & check nuts) and riveted to earth plate at one end and connected to metallic bodies of LT equipments etc at the other, earth strip encased in and including 40mm bore GI light grade pipe with all fittings from top of electrode to body of equipment fixed with and including 25 x 3mm flat iron clamps, bolts, nuts and washer and also including providing watering pipe 20mm bore GI pipe medium grade from bottom of earth pit to top of electrode complete with earth pit in PCC 1:2:4 type B-O using 12 mm graded crushed stone aggregate excavation & earth work and RCC cover complete all specified and shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR Pt-I.( Earth resistance test must be carried out in presence of Engr-in-charge prior to payment. Earth resistance must be less than tha 2Ω.No payment shall be done if the results are not found satisfactory.)

M&L for Restretching / tightening of ACSR conductor of any size & GI earth wire of any size of LT over head line on existing poles duly straining properly binding with extra aluminium binding wire to insulators complete all as specified & directed.

Supplying and fixing in replacement Astronomical street light timing switch having lighting control (ON-OFF) through Calculation of Sun rise/ sun set by setting date, time and degree of longitude and latitude without separate light sensors and prewired with suitable size of copper conductor single core PVC insulated and sheathed cable and all mechanism fitted into panel, outdoor type , pole mounted with FI 25x4mm clamps , nuts, bolts and washers dully painted, connecting and testing factory made , epoxy powder coated, Three Phase street light panel, digital 24 hrs, suitable for 8KW (max) complete with 40 Amps 3 pole/230V astronomical time switch, 40 amps TP Contactor, and 40 Amps FP MCCBs and fixed on pole/ wall/ feeder pillar complete all as specified and directed.

S&F including taking down MCCB 4 pole, 415V, Adjustable type, 250 Amps with breaking capacity 25 KA all as specified and directed.
