1. Repairs to 3.5 cusec discharge HC pump unit no. 02 at LIS Badhyalachak.The job involves decoupling of pump from the motor and removing the top cover, extraction of shaft and impeller assembly together with bearing bracket by using suitable tools & tackles and skilled technicians. Carriage of the impeller shaft assembly by using manual labour, loading in transport vehicle, carriage to the workshop in the mechanical transport for repairs. Repair to impeller shaft assembly at workshop by way of dismantling and extraction of damaged parts. Job includes repairs to pump shaft and impeller at damaged spots by way of re metaling then finishing to proper size so the shaft and impeller should be balanced. Providing and fitting of 2 nos. bearings at driving and non-driving end (according to the sample size). Providing and fitting of new bushes-1 No. and applying sufficient amount of grease to avoid excessive wear and tear. Fabrication of glands and studs with nuts. Repair to bearing brackets. Re-assembling of impeller shaft assembly and shifting back to site and there after lowering at proper position, placement of oil seal and closing the top cover along with P/F of new nuts, bolts and studs. Coupling the pump with the motor. P/F of gland packing. Priming the pump. Testing the pump on full load. The Job includes cost of material, labour (skilled and unskilled), loading charges, hire charge of tool and tackles, to and fro carriage charges. Complete Job. 2. Repair to 75HP 3 phase induction motor of pumping unit no. 1 installed at LIS Badhyalachak. The job involves dismantling the motor by unfastening the foundation nuts and bolts and also decoupling from the pump and disconnecting the electrical connections from the main supply. Shifting of the motor to workshop by mechanical transport . Then complete dismantling of the motor involves extraction of rotor from stator followed by cleaning of stator and rotor using compressed air, organic solvent, CCL4 etc. to remove the dust particles /silt etc. Extraction of burnt winding from the stator, cleaning of stator with petrol .P/F of new winding wire of suitable gauge & size in the stator, varnishing the stator winding with superior quality of varnish. Drying the stator winding with hot air circulation process. Assembling of the motor . Shifting the motor back to LIS . Refitting the motor at its installed position and coupling with pump, making of electrical connections, alignment with pump , testing of motor on full load. Complete job includes the cost of material, labour charges, hiring charges of tools & tackles, transportation charges. Complete Job 3. Repairs to 250 KVA electrical transformer with allied works at LIS Kah. The job involves disconnecting of distribution transformer HT links and HT/LT side cables. Dismounting from poles / platform using crane/ skilled and un-skilled labour using tools and tackles, loading in mechanical transport and carriage to workshop and unloading at workshop including head load carriage. Rewinding its 3 nos. H.V. coil &2 nos. L.V. coils with superior Aluminium wire of requisite size/gauge. Heating the rewinded coils to attain the required megger value. Replacement of damaged 3 nos HV&4 nos. LV bush rods with the new bush rods as per sample. Providing /Fitting of new gasket, L.T. terminal plate, nuts, bolts, insulators etc. Cleaning of the tank and drying it. Providing/Topping up of 210 litres transformer oil and heating the oil to make it moisture free. Lowering the windings back in the tank Assembling the transformer by tightening all nuts, bolts and using oil packing sheets wherever necessary. Loading in the vehicle and shifting back to site. Job includes placing of transformer on the platform with the help of crane using skilled manual labour. Fitting the transformer and restoration of electrical connections. Making of LT side cable connections as well as HT side cable connections and charging the transformer on no load conditions and thereafter checking on full load conditions. Complete job including cost of material, skilled and semi-skilled labour charges, loading & unloading at both ends and transportation charges as per site conditions of LIS.
