Construction of (G plus 5) building for structural engineering laboratory, geotechnical engineering laboratory, traffic engineering laboratory and classrooms under civil engineering department in the IIEST, Shibpur campus, Howrah. SH: Structural design & drawing & vetting.

Preparation and submission of structural analysis with load moment chart for the entire strucfural components like walls, columns, beams, slabs, staircase, tanks etc. along with structural drawings like 1) layout of structure, 2) foundation and plinth beams details, 3) details of columns, 4) floor wise details of slabs, beams, including terrace slab, 5) details of staircase & mumty and any other structure/item to make the building functional. The Designer shall have to submit the basic design data, load and assumptions required to be made in the design for approval before taking up design work. The design and detailing shall be conforming to relevant IS codes. The Design and drawings shall be checked by the competent authority and the designer shall have to incorporate all such instructions by him and engineer-in-charge, if any. These drawings shall be submitted in original, duly signed by the strucfural designer, 8 (Eight) copies each in Al size paper and soft copy (AutoCAD format) including the structural analysis both in soft (STAAD/ E-Tabs model) and hard copies complete and get the same signed by competent authority and the same shall then be submitted to the Engineer-in-charge, all complete for above mentioned work.
