REPAIR, MAINT/ REPLACEMENT OF CI/DI/GI PIPE LINES, SUPPLY OF ESSENTIAL CHEMICAL FOR WATER TREATMENT AND ALLIED WORK AT FATEHGARH CANTT

Excavation in trenches n exc 1.5m wide and n.exc 1.5m in depth for laying of pipe, cables, etc and getting out in soft/loose soil including forming bottom surface to require slope and gradient complete all as specified and directed

Returning, filling in trenches, including spreading, leveling, watering and wall ramming in layers each n.exc 25cm in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed

Removing surplus excavated material from site not exceeding 50 mtrs from starting point and depositing where directed at level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and directed

M&L for PCC 1:3:6 type C-2, (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundation, filling and mass concrete, for filling the cut road / path, for supporting pipes in trenches complete all as specified and directed

Taking out/ Dismantling of CI/GI water mains including all CI fittings of 150mm bore, including cleaning of scale and all loose material from inner part of the bore and removing of lead, complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Excavation & earth work shall be measured and paid for separately under the relevant items of this schedule

All as per item No. 5 above but 100 mm bore

Supply, laying, jointing and testing of 150 mm bore ductile iron (DI) pressure pipes with spigot and socket ends, centrifugally cast, Class K-7, ISI marked, conforming to IS 8329 and other relevant Indian Standards, with factory applied cement mortar lining on the inner surface and finished externally with zinc coating and bituminous finish layer, suitable for push-on joints (Tyton joints), in any length, laid in trenches to the required line and level, including supplying and fixing Tyton EPDM rubber gaskets, cutting pipes where necessary, jointing, hydraulic testing, commissioning complete in all respects as specified and as directed. Note :- Excavation & earth work shall be measured and paid for separately under the relevant items.

Re-fixing of 150 mm bore cast iron (CI) water mains obtained from Item No. 5, after thorough de-scaling and cleaning, laid and fixed in trenches, walls, floors or other required positions, including alignment, jointing, fixing with necessary clamps, supports and jointing materials, testing for leakage and making good disturbed surfaces, complete all as specified and as directed.

Re-fixing of 100 mm bore cast iron (CI) water mains obtained from Item No. 6, after thorough de-scaling and cleaning, in trenches, walls, floors or other required positions, including alignment, jointing, fixing with necessary clamps, supports and jointing materials, testing for leakage and making good disturbed surfaces, complete in all respects as specified and as directed.
