M&L for earthing complete for bldg with galvanized mild steel earth plate electrode 60cm x 60cm x 6mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 meters below ground level) with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 meters below ground level connected to galvanized earth wire 4.00 mm dia by means of nuts, bolts, thimbles, chuck nuts, washers of GI or steel, PCC (concrete chamber of size 300 mm x 300 mm x 300 mm inside dimension) shall be PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate with fair finish , internal surface of concrete chamber shall be given 15mm thick plaster in CM 1:4, funnel with wire mesh of 22 gauge, 80 mm thick PCC pit cover 320 mm x 320 mm of RCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate reinforced with XPM, JALLI pit shall be filled with charcoal dust and common salt all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES SSR Part-I (2009) as specified including provision of 15mm dia medium grade GI pipe for earth wire protection and 20 mm dia for watering complete , all excavation and earth work & connecting the earthing to an earthing test point / main switch board as specified and testing on completion, complete all as specified and directed.
