RENEWAL/REPLACEMENT OF SURVEYED OFF STEEL FURNITURES UNDER GE (NW) KUNJALI, COLABA, MUMBAI

ALMIRAH LARGE STEEL WITH SHELVES- (All as per drgs FD-1031 except) Overall size shall be 1985mm high,920mm wide and 485mm deep. Mild steel sheet shall be 1mm thick. Top, sides bottom and back of almirah shall be of 1mm thick mild steel sheet . Four shelves equally spaced of 1mm thick mild steel sheet shall be provided to make five compartments.Front shutter shall have two leaves of equal size . One chromium plated steel handle with a locking device shall be provided as shown on drawing . The locking device shall be three way locking device. All joints and welding and fixing shall be done in accordance with the standard workmanship. HARD RUBBER SHOES or PVC sheet of size equal to size of leg base shall also be fixed under the legs of almirah irrespective of what is shown on drg .All steel surface internally and externally, exposed to view when placed in position shall be painted in HAMMERTONE FINISH in SILVER/GUNMETAL color.Rest all as specified or shown in drg.

ALMIRAH LARGE STEEL ½ HANGING ½ SHELVES (All as per drgs FD/E6/MAP/18 except) 1mm thick PBI sheet throughout shall be used to manufacture the Almirah except legs which shall be of 1.25 mm thick PBI sheet. Stain less steel curtain rods as per sample approved and brackets be provided in hanging portion. Stain less steel handle decorative type, godrej lock and one locker with separate lock shall be provided as shown in drg. Almirah shall be painted in WOODEN TEXTURE as approved on outside & LIGHT BROWN on inside. Rubber/PVC sheet/shoes to the base of legs shall be provided for scratchfree movement of the almirah irrespective of what is shown on drg.Rest all as specified/ shown in Drg and directed by Engr-in –charge/GE.

ALMIRAH MED STEEL WITH SHELVES- (All as per drgs FD-1032 except) Overall size shall be 1270mm high,765mm wide and 440mm deep. The base shall be made of two numbers mild steel sheet channel base welded to bottom of almirah and shall be 100mm high. Mild steel sheet shall be 1mm thick for channel base. The base channel shall be welded at 50mm from each end of 765mm length and shall be up to full width of 440mm of almirah. Top, sides, back, bottom and front of almirah shall be of 1mm thick mild steel sheet. Three shelves equally spaced making four compartments shall be provided and shall be of 1mm thick mild steel sheet.Front shutters shall have two leaves. a steel chromium plated handle 100mm long shall be provided to the shutter. A three way locking device shall be provided to front shutters. PVC sheet of size equal to size of leg base shall also be fixed under the legs of almirah irrespective of what is shown on drg. Almirah shall be painted in HAMMERTONE FINISH in SILVER/GUNMETAL colour both internally and externally. Rest all as per drgs.

BED HARD- (All as per drgs FD/E6/MAP/08(R) except) Overall size shall be 2000mm long, 900mm wide and 400mm high.All Steel shall be MS Square pipe of 18 Gauge.18mm thick both side decorative prelaminated plywood board of walnut shade with PVC edging shall be screwed to MS strip arc welded to 18mm thick rectangular pipe with standard workmanship both in head board/foot board. PVC shoes shall be provided to legs of bed.All metal /iron work shall be powder coated in not less thana 70 microns done in 7 processes.Rest all as per drg.

CHAIR WRITING- (All as per drgs FD/E6/MAP/12 except) Chair shall be of trade pattern with size and dimensions as per standard drawing only. Sample of the chair shall be approved by GE before supply or equivalent model as approved by GE

LOCKER STEEL- (All as per drgs FD-1029 except) PBI sheet 1mm thick shall be provided throughout except legs,locking device and perforated strip for holding shelves, which shall be of 1.25mm thick,All welding work shall be continous and done smoothly by gas welding.Two chromium plated handles 4” grip of TRADE PATTERN shall be fixed to shutters. One chromium plated brass hasp and staple 75mm long shall be fixed to shutters. Two aluminum tower bolts shall be provided to a shutter at top & bottom as shown in drg. All steel surface internally and externally, exposed to view when placed in position shall be painted in HAMMERTONE FINISH in SILVER/ALUMINUM/GUNMETAL color.Rest all specifications are as per drg or as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

CHAIR VERANDAH- (All as per drgs FD/E6/MAP/11 except) 18 mm sq MS pipe throughout in frame work properly welded with gas welding. Readymade Plastic seat and back in white colour shall be fixed with steel screws of appropriate size. Steel portion of chair shall be finished with epoxy powder coated painting 70 micron in white colour done in 7 processes. Rest all as specified/ shown in Drg and directed by Engr-in –charge/GE.

CHARPOY IP WITH HARD TOP (All as per drgs FD/MAP-II/01 except) 65x25 mm rect MS pipe 16 gauge. for frame (long and short rails), 25 mm sq MS pipe 16 Gauge for stiffeners, 32 mm sq MS pipe 16 G for legs shall be used and welded properly with gas welding at joints to make the charpoy. 25x60x6 mm MS cleats be welded with short rails inner side to sport the ply wood. All steel members shall be powder coated in black colour not less than to a thickness of 70 microns done in 7 stages. Ply wood 12 mm thick BWR IS:303 be provided on top of charpoy properly fixed with screws. Rest all as specified/ shown in Drg and directed by Engr-in –charge/GE
