SOLAR PANEL Providing 8 kWp On-grid rooftop Solar photo-voltaic systems including the following items: a) SOLAR PV MODULE :Solar module with high module output, well equiped with efficient crystalline cells and characterised by high yeilds, long service life, certified in accordnce with ISO 9001 international high quality standard. Modules must qualify to IEC 1730 Part I and II for safety qualification testing or Equivalent IS & IEC 61701/IS 61701. Each PV module must have RF itentification tag (RFID), PV module type : Bifacial mono crystalline PV module capacity 8 kWp. b) MOUNTING MOUNTING STRUCTURE: Modules should be mounted on fixed metallic structures of adequate strength and appropriate design which can withstand load of modules and high wind velocities upto 160 km/hour. The support structure used in the power plant should be hot dip galvanied iron (G.I) having 120 microns coating. Each panel frame structure should be fabricated as to be on the roof on its legs. The legs of the structure should be fixed and grouted in the PCC foundation column made with 1:2:4 cement concrete. The foundation should support SPV modules at a given orientation, absorbs and transfer the mechanical loads to the ground properly and should withstand maximum wind Speed of 160Km/hr. c) DC CABLES: Supply of 4 sqmm DC copper cable or XLPE insulated and PVC unsheathed single or multicore cable with minimum 4 sqmm in suitable PVC rigid pipe on wall from PV array to DCDB d) AC CABLES: Supply and run 4 core 25 sq.mm PVC or XLPE insulated multi strand copper cable PVC and PVC unsheathed single or multi core flexible cable with voltage rating 1100 volts UV stabilized copper cable in suitable PVC rigid
e) ARRAY JUNCTION BOX: The junction box should be dust proof, Vermin and water proof and made of FRP/ Thermo plastic, the terminals should be connected to copper bus bar arrangement of proper sizes for both incoming and outgoing cables. Suitable makings should be provided on the bus bar for identification and cable termination points for identification. f) DCDB: A DC distribution box should be mounted close to the solar grid inverter. The DC distribution box should be of the thermo plastic IP 65 DIN –rail mounting type and should comprise the following components and cable terminations – incoming positive and negative DC cables from the AJB Box DC isolator, 2 Pole (the cables from the AJB Box will be connected to this isolator on the incoming side )- DC surge protection device (SPD), class-2 as per IEC- 60364-5-53; - g) ACDB: An AC DB box should be provided in between PCU and loads. It should have MCB of suitable rating for connection and disconnection of PCU from load and should be mounted close to the Grid Tie Inverter with thermo plastic IP65 protection for cable termination points for identification.
h) CABLE: Supply and run of 16sq.mm single core copper insulated cable with necessary clamp / Supports on wall/floor/ground for earth connection i)EARTHING: PV module structure components should be electrically interconnected and should be grounded. Earthing should be done in accordance with IS 3043-1986, provided that earthing conductors should have a minimum size of 6.0 mm2 copper, 10 mm2 aluminium or 70 mm2 hot dip galvanized steel. Unprotected aluminium or copper-clad aluminium conductors should not be used for final underground connections to earth electrodes. A minimum of two separate dedicated and interconnected earth electrodes must be used for the earthing of the solar PV system support structure with a total earth resistance not exceeding 5 Ohm. The earth electrodes should have a precast concrete enclosure with a removable lid for inspection and maintenance. The entire earthing system should comprise non-corrosive components.
