GTG & STG Startup activities

Replacement / Releasing and re-fixing of pressure / temperature / flow / level transmitters & switches and other field instruments etc., for defect and mechanical co-ordination work

Replacement/Releasing and re-fixing of field instruments such as gauges, RTD, Thermocouple, manifolds and impulse line except turbine area.

Replacement/Releasing and re-fixing of ON/OFF valves/Actuators, Limit switches, Pilot actuators, Air regulators, O-ring and gaskets etc. for defect and mechanical co-ordination

Replacement/Releasing and re-fixing of Pneumatic control valve's positioner, position transmitter, airlock relay, volume booster, limit switches etc, vibration sensors, speed sensors, thermocouples/ RTDs in Gas and steam turbine area. for defect and other Mechanical co-ordination work

Assistantship in DCS control loop checking of signals and cable healthiness checking, spare cable tracing etc. and Electrical co-ordination work

Replacement/healthiness checking of ABB Symphony harmony/Siemens DCS, Modicon PLC, Woodward Governing system modules & other PLC cards and FIM replacement etc.

Functional checking of pressure/ temperature transmitters/switches /RTD/ Thermocouple/ flame scanner, Transducers etc. with DCS, vibration measurement of motors/pumps and operational checking of ON/OFF solenoid valves and limit switches Pneumatic control valves.

Assistantship in check measurement of new materials

Calibration of voltmeter / Ammeters /Timers includes safe release of meter/timer from panel / testing of meter & meter and physical verification, cleaning attending minor defects, repairs /adjustments, refixing of meter/timer, checking for correctness and restoring normalcy, handling of testing kits / equipments and maintaining of registers etc, as directed by the engineer in charge.

Calibration of KW/KVAR/PF/KWh/ Trivector Meter and all transducers including safe release of meter/transducer from panel/testing and physical verification, cleaning attending minor defects, repair/adjustment, refixing, checking for correctness and restoring normalcy, handling of testing kits/equipment and maintaining of registers etc., as directed by the engineer in charge.

Calibration of Bimetallic relays Electromagnetic relays and static relays including safe release of relay from panel/testing relay and physical verification, cleaning attending minor defects, repair/adjustment, refixing, checking for correctness and restoring normalcy, handling of testing kits/equipment and maintaining of registers etc, as directed by the engineer in charge.

Testing of Numerical relays, CT,PT,CVT,Surge Arrester/Capacitors (HV/EHV) including safe release of relay from panel/testing of relay and physical verification, cleaning attending minor defects, repairs/adjustments, refixing of relay, checking for correctness and restoring normalcy, handling of testing kits/equipments and maintaining of registers etc, as directed by the engineer in charge.

Testing of AVR, Generators,Power transformers, 110KV and 11KV Circuit Breakers handling of testing kits/equipments and maintaining of registers, etc, as directed by the engineer in charge.

Testing and Troubleshooting of breakers upto 6.6KV rating, lighting transformers, HT and LT Motors, handling of testing/equipments and maintaining of registers etc, as directed by engineer in charge.

Lubricating, Cleaning and checking of control circuit tightness and healthiness in bothend (local/Module), disconnection and reconnection of control cables on Motor operated valve and Laying of 10 meter LAN cable, CCTV cable and telephone cable and maintaining of registers etc, as directed by engineer in charge.

Limit setting of torque and limit switch of motorized valve checking of control circuits and Laying of 10 meter 1.5/2.5Sq.mm control cable upto 17 core UG Cable maintaining of registers etc, as directed by engineer in charge

Troubleshooting of control circuits problems in all type of LT &HT modules, Checking for tightness healthiness cleaning of all type of control and relay panels, UPS, Chargers, LT & HT module, control and annunciation panels, fire panels, fire detectors and CO2 fire protection etc, and maintaining of registers etc, as directed by engineer in charge.

Troubleshooting and cleaning of SCADA, Routine maintenance of CCTV, Intercom, PA System , Bio metric , LAN and INTRANET

Assistance to the maintenance Engineers during GTG & STG startup and shutdown, commissioning of new equipment & other activities as directed by engineer in charge.

Monitoring, taking daily walk down check list of all important parameters in the station, checking of all fire systems and checking of all intercom connection healthiness.

ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE -I

Maintenance of LT Modulesbelow 45KW rating & breakdown works (once in 3 months).

Maintenance of LT Modules and Breakersabove 45KW rating regular & breakdown works (once 3 months).

Maintenance of LT Motorsbelow 25HP/18.5KW rating regular & breakdown works (once in 3 months).

Maintenance of LT Motors above 25HP/18.5KW regular & breakdown works (once in 3 months).

Maintenance of HT motors regular & breakdown works (once in 3 months).

Maintenance of HT circuit breakers regular & breakdown works (once in 3 months).

Maintenance of GTG excitation carbon brushesregular & breakdown (once in a month).

Monitoring taking daily walk down check list of all important equipments.

Painting of Electrical equipments motors below 6 Feet in Sq.Mt

Painting of Electrical equipments motors above 6 Feet height in Sq.Mt.

Replacement of worn-out bearings in LT Motors below 18.5KW.

Replacement of worn-out bearings in LT motors above 18.5KW to 45KW.

Replacement of worn-out bearings in LT motors above 45KW to 150KW.

Co-ordination work with MRT for testing of Generators and HT motors includes disconnection and reconnection of Links to isolate the equipments for testing purpose.

Vertical Motors Releasing and Re-fixing due to Unexpected motor winding burnout and Mechanical Co-ordination works.

Releasing, unloading, loading and Re-fixing due to unexpected breakdown works of 100HP/75KW, ACC Fan Motors.

ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE -II

Rectification of indoor and outdoor lighting such as tube light fittings, LED normal/flood Light fittings etc., below 4.5mtrs height.

Rectification of indoor and outdoor lighting such as tube light fittings, LED flood Light & street light fittings etc., above 4.5mtrs height.

Maintenance of 110 KV isolators, CTs, CVTs, LAS,SF 6 gas top up, earth pit maintenance, earth switches, etc., Regular (once in 3 months) &Break down.

Maintenance of 110KV circuit Breakers routine (once in 3 months)

Maintenance of GTG/STG Transformers and Auxiliary Transformers like UAT’s, APT’s, Rectifier Transformer and Lighting Transformers once in 3 months.

Maintenance of Battery cells and once in a week.

Extension of temporary supply.

Painting of Electrical equipments such as breakers, MOM Box sets, CT’s sets, CVT sets, and PT’s sets at 110KV switchyard & local control boxes below 6 Feet in Sq.Mt.

Painting of Electrical equipment’s such as breakers, MOM Box sets, CT’s sets, CVT sets, and PT’s sets at 110KV switchyard & local control boxes above 6 Feet height in Sq.Mt.

Pre checks and Assistance during GTG,STG,GBC Startupand shutdown actives.

OPERATION

Phase-I Main Control Room: – Carrying out assistance operation works in taking periodical readings, Battery and Battery charger readings and in operating manual valves / breakers etc., and also in start-up and shutdown activities of unit etc.,

Phase-I Switch yard control room:- Carrying out assistance operation works in taking periodical reading and also assisting the operator in operating isolators manual operation , battery and battery charger readings etc., and also assist during LC works etc.,

Gas Booster Compressor #1 & IA/PA Area:-Carrying out assistance operation works in taking periodical reading and in local operation of the pneumatic & manual valves and also in start-up and shutdown activities etc., Carrying out assistance operation works in IA/PA taking periodical reading in IA/PA system
