REPAIR/REPLACEMENT OF CI/GI PIPE LINES INCLUDING MISC WORKS

Amount

Excavation in trenches, not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth for foundations, shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, laying pipe line, laying of cables or fixing poles and stays and struts etc. not exceeding 10 Sqm on plan and not exceeding 1.5 metre in depth and getting out in soft/loose soil including trimming the sides and forming bottom surfaces to required levels complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Returning and filling including spreading, leveling watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Removing excavated material (surplus soil) to a distance not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 metre above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Taking up or down 15mm dia GI tubing including all connected fittings in any position, cleaning for refixing or removal to store complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Note : - Cleaning, Repairing, etc. shall be measured and paid seprately.

Cleaning and removing all scale and dirt, with help of bleaching powder / chlorine and wire brush etc.from tanks exc 500 ltrs & n.exc 1000 ltrs capacity and from mouths of circulating pipes etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge.

Supply and fixing in repair gun metal, globe or gate valve (ISI marked), brass cast copper allow, with iron wheel head, screwed both ends suitable for 15 mm bore iron pipes complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :- The minimum weight of gate valve shall be as given in SSR or in relevant IS.

S & F in repair sluice valve class PN 1.6 conforming to IS-14846-2000 suitable for 100 mm bore pipe flanged end and drilled gun metal spindle, CI gate with brass ring and iron wheel handle etc of existing size and specification and minor modification to pipe lines if deemed essential at site for fixing including nut bolts, washers, rubber insertion packing etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in charge.

M & L for construction of brick masonery valve pit in repair of 105 cm X 105 cm X 105 cm (internal dimensions) including necessary excavation and earth work in soft/loose soil brick work, plastering, white wash, PCC coping, MS frame made out of angle iron of size 50X50X6 mm, MS sheet cover 3 mm thick fixed to angle iron frame by mean of hinges welded to frame in PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 including handle and locking arrangement with one No. 50 mm dia steel pad lock ISI mark with duplicate keys complete all as specified &directed by Engineer-in-charge. Notes for Sr Item No.54 to 56. (i) The brick wall shall be 23 cm thick built in cement mortar (1:4) (ii) Plaster shall be 15 cm thick in cement mortar (1:4). (iii) Plaster shall be 15 mm thick in cement mortar (1:4) on internal surfaces of valve pit. (iv) PCC in foundation shall be 15 cm thick in cement concrete (1:4:8) type D2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate extended 15 cm all around from the external surfaces of walls. (v) PCC coping shall be 15 cm thick in cement concrete (1:3:4) type C1 using 20 mm grade stone aggregate including grouting of angle iron frame in PCC. (vi) Two coats of white wash to internal surface of valve pit. (vii) Depth of valve pit shall be rackedned from the top of PCC in foundation. Note:- The contract sum shall be calculated by deducting the amount shown in Credit Schedule attached to this tender, from total amount of Schedule 'A'/BOQ
