Amount

(a) Boring through sand/ clay/ silt strata from ground level to 7 mtrs or depth of refusal whichever is less for bldg structure. (b) Carrying out standard penetration test in bore holes as IS2131-1985. (c) Collecting distrubed sample at every 1.0 mtr or change to strata including packing and handling all complete. (d) Collecting undistrubed samples at every 1.5 mtr or change of strata including packing and handling all complete as per IS2132-1985. (e) Carrying out laboratory test for :- (i) Grain size (ii) Liquid and plastic limit and swelling index (iii) Natural moisture content (iv) Specific gravity (v) Bilk and Dry density (vi) Sher characteristic from un disturbed sample using direct shear/ tri axial shear test. (vii) Unconfined compression test. (viii) Consolidation test. (ix) Free swell index. (f) The report to include clearly the following parameters :- (i) Safe bearing capacity of soil. (ii) Whether effect of high water table been considered or not in working out SBC. Recommendation for SBC based on shear and settlement criteria including recommendation for improvement of SBC if any. (iii) Type of soil. (iv) Suggested size and depth for single/Double storied bldg. (v)Sulphate content of soil. i. Nos of bores : 20 Nos. Note :- Total 04 sets of spiral binded report shall be submitted and cost for same shall be deemed to be included in quoted retes.
