Providing two legged scaffolding using 48.30mm dia heavy duty MS pipe over all height of 3.00m the distance between 2 legs being 1.25m and the spacing of the post being 2m in each rows and providing platform with C.W. planks using 40mm thick silver oak and 1.00m wide in complete form with horizontal bracings @ 1.50m c/c vertical direction and with cross bracings using same 48.30mm dia including cutting, threading assembly with red oxide primer, labour charges cost of specials such on large plate, shoe, carcher, coupling, bolt and nut transportation charges. The bottom of vertical post shall rest on 300x300x70mm 1:2:4 concrete base etc complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Reconstruction of brick masonry wall with similar type of Brick work in lime mortar 1:2 (one lime two sand) using wire cut brick of size 9"x4"x3" (Specially manufacturing) for super structure in ground floor mortar mixed in the herbals executed as per traditional preparation and documented type construction such as arches and lintels etc., including erection of scaffolding curing complete complying with standard specification by the departmental officers.

Renewing the dameged Teak wood wrought and put up with using new Teak wood scantling upto 4M length for Rafters including labour charges for fixing in position complete and as directed by the departmental officers)
Redoing of Madras Terrace roof in all floors with one layer of brick on edge course laid as first layer over the existing Teakwood joists, Beams, I Sections, etc., which are placed at roof level in all floors using specially manufactured Terrace bricks for heritage works of size 150mm x 75mm x 25mm in lime mortar 1:1.5 (one lime and one and half sand). The second layer is laid with specially manufactured Terrace bricks for Heritage works of size 150mm x 75mm x 25mm in flat manner in lime mortar 1:2 ( one lime and t\wo sand) 20mm thick as base layer laid over the top of brick on edge course. Brick jelly lime concrete using broken brick jelly of size 20mm uniform gauge in pure slaked lime (no sand to be added) to the proportion of brick jelly to lime being 32:12.50 by volume laid over the second layer of terrace bricks for an average consolidated thickness of 100mm in a single layer of required slope/level as directed and finished by beating the concrete with wooden beaters of approved pattern, keeping the surface constantly wet by sprinkling lime jaggery (PALM JAGGERY) water. (Galnut of 10kg and jaggery of 10kg per one sq.m). The beating of the concrete is done continuously until the brick jelly lime concrete is well hardened. After ensuring the harden surface of brick jelly lime concrete, flat tiles of 150mm x 150mm x 25mm of specially manufactured superior quality to suit the heritage works is laid in
two consecutive layers in lime mortar 1:2 (one lime and two sand) 15mm thick for each layer of flat tiles. The base mortar provided for the top course of flat tiles is mixed with SBR (Synthetic Butadiene Rubber) Polymer at the rate of 0.5 litres for one sq.m is applied for water proofing chemical treatment including neat finishing. The Materials like Terrace bricks for the heritage work as from Thirukkattupalli and Pollachi lime should only be used. The period of interval between laying of I layer, II layer of terrace bricks, brick jelly lime concrete and flat tiles in two consecutive layers as directed by the departmental officers etc., complete complying with standard specifications. The Madras Terrae roof laid over the roof joist, beam, etc., is well embedded in the wall to the required distance as directed by the Engineer In Charge. (The rate includes the cost of all materials like terrace brick for heritage works, brick jelly 20mm, Pollachi lime, flat tiles and SBR chemicals and labour charges for laying all items of works). Pollachi lime should only be used for preparation of mortar, brick jelly lime concrete etc.. The Terrace bricks, flat tiles should got approved by the Executive Engineer before use on works. The overall thickness of madras terrace roof laid is to be of 300mm as detailed below.
Brick on edge course (I layer) = 75 mm Base mortar for laying terrace bricks = 20 mm Laying of terrace bricks (II layer) = 25 mm Brick jelly lime concrete = 100 mm Base mortar for flat tiles = 15 mm Laying flat tiles(I course) = 25 mm Base mortar for flat tiles (II layer) = 15 mm Flat tiles (II course) = 25 mm Total thickness = 300 mm
Racking out the brick joints of walls, arches, etc.,to a depth of approximately 5cm for a wall thickness of 45cm and above to remove the dead mortar in between the brick joints and cleaning the surface with coir brush and washed with pure water etc complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.
Pointing,grouting and filleting the brick joint of wall and arches with lime mortar 1:2 (one of lime and two of sand) using Pollachi lime in all floors etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.
Strengthening the existing walls by providing grouting by formation of holes of size 1" to 2" with required intervals - depth of 20cm depending upon the site conditions and slurry consisting of lime mortar 1:2 ( one lime and two of sand) added with grouting admixture by 2% weight of lime, by using required equipment with standard specification as directed by the departmental officials. the rate include cost of all materials , labour charges etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.
Replastering the walls and ceiling with Lime mortar 1:2 (one Lime and Two sand), 30mm thick including erection and dismantling of scaffolding and curing etc complete complying with standard specifications as directed by the departmental officers. The rate includes labour charges for imported specially skilled labours.
Replastering the ceiling with Lime mortar 1:1.5 (one Lime and one and half sand), 20mm thick including labour charges for erection and dismantling of scaffolding and curing etc complete complying with standard specifications as directed by the departmental officers.
Applying thin coat of hand grinded lime mortar paste (mix should be with 1 kg of jaggery , 1 kg of galnut , 30 nos. egg 0.5 kg of vajram , 3 kg of white marble powder 0.5 kg of redoxide and 0.5 kg of yellow oxide for 10 sq.m area) (Theeravai) over the newly plastered surface as per the existing clues (including finishing the surface with smoothness) erection of scaffolding curing etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.
Making , supplying and fixing of Teak wood Louvered panelled door shutter two leaves of door opening with bottom closed using 2/3 louvered at top+ 1/3 panelled at bottom of the door shutter using Teak wood styles and rails of thickness of 0.05m alround and centere and the panels should be covered with 50mm thick Teak wood planks and louvered planks of size 150mm x 20 mm thick, all are to be done in the existing clues the shutter should be fixed in position with necessary furniture fitting such as 6-Nos cost of Aluminium butt hinges 6” long, 4-Nos Aluminium tower bolt 3'-00”, Aluminium aldrop 10” with necessary screws and nails and painting the door shutter with one coat of primer etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.
Easing and repairing hanging doors, window shutters and refixing the same after attending the petty repairs including fixing furniture fittings etc.,complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.
Renewing the damaged Teak wood panelled windows, ventilators with new teak wood panelled Window shutter including fixing in position with hinges but excluding cost of furniture fittings etc., complete complying as directed by the departmental officers as per standard specification.(0.60x1.30m).
Making, supplying and fixing of glazed ventilator with new Teak wood glazed ventilator of size 1.20x0.60m by using Teak wood scanting thickness of size 0.04m frames fixed with 4mm thick pin headed glass including labour for wrought put up and fixing the ventilator in position with necessary furniture fittings including finishing the Ventilator with one coat of primer and finishing neatly etc., complete complying with standard specifications and as directed by the departmental officers.
Renewing the damaged teak wood ornamental hand rail in stair case and verandha portion with superior quality of teak wood and kadasal work in all the members, the top member of size 8 x 6 cm with curved surface, in bottom member of size 10 x 8 cm, the internal vertical supports are 6.5 x 6.5 cm, the internal bracing and design members of side with 2.50 x 2.50 cm with complete kadasal works, the rate inclusive of cost teak wood, skilled labour charges, necessary screws, nails, etc., complete complying with standard specification as directed by the departmental officers.
Supplying and fixing of best quality and approved variety of ISMB girder of make TATA or equivalent for the various spans fixing below the madras terrace roof to support the roof in the places wherever necessary as directed by the departmental officers and fixed ISMB- ‘I’ Section over the bed blocks in the wall including cost of dismantling the brick work wherever necessary for fixing the ‘I’ Section and redoing the same and also the cost of ‘I’ Section labour charges hire charges for welding machineries, hoist for lifting and hire charges for hydraulic manuals Jacky and other allied tools etc., complete including the cost of porting of ISMB- ‘I’ section etc and one coat of red oxide primer etc., complete. The I beam has to be supported on brick wall using appropriate blocks so as to support the madras terrace roofing in all the floors etc., complete complying with standard specifications.(The make and brand of the ISMB girder I section should be got approved by the Executive Engineer before use on works).
Paving the floor with best quality Heritage pattern Cement tile & Handmade tile of size 200 x 200 mm of approved colour, shade and quality laid in cement mortar 1:3 (one cement and three sand) 20mm thick in all floors and the top pointed with the white cement mixed same colour pigments etc., complete complying with standard specification. (The make and brand of the tiles should be got approved by Executive Engineer before use on works)
White Washing inner wall with three coats of shell lime as directed by the deparmental officers. The rate inclusive of cost of materials and labour charges but excluding high scaffolding charages etc
Supplying and Painting the wall two coats with approved weather proof Exterior Emulsion paint over one primer coat of over wall surface ect., complete complying with standard specification. (The colour and shade of the Emulsion paint shall be got approved by the Executive Engineer before use of work).
Painting ISMB 500 girder and MS plate with two coats of anticorrosive paint of apecial quality including cost of brushes, high scafoldingcharges. to give a wooden look like finish complying with standard specifications
Revarnishing the wood work with two coats of best melamine varnish of approved quality and brand including preparation of surface etc. The rate is inclusive cost of all materials, labour charges and finishing neatly etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers etc. complete.
Labour charge for removing painting in Teak Wood joist, beams, doors, windows etc., as per standard specification
Painting new wood work with two finishing coats of synthetic enamel ready mixed paint of approved quality and colour over one coat priming coat in all floors including the cost of primer etc., complete complying with standard specification. (The make, quality and colour of paint should be got approved by the Executive Engineer before use on works.)
Collecting the scattered debris from the campus and conveying away the same to outside by lorry to a lead of 10KM including loading and unloading charges and dumping in low places and leveling etc., complete.
Clean removal of saline action over the stone pillars, brick walls etc., with paper pulp treatment by using floating paper, deionized water, plastic bucket, coir , brush etc., complete complying with standard specifications as per directed by the departmental officers
Supplying material and labour charges for shade net for good protector of the building from heavy wind, birds, insect and alos reduces water evoporation and the size of t shde net shall be length as 50 m and breadth as 6m with green for protection of building etc as directed by the departmental officers
Supplying and fixing of hoisting machine by hire basis and Running charges for Electrically Operated hoisting machine of capacity 200 - 300 Kg for period of one month, for lifting of all materials from ground to terrace and shifting of damaged unused materials from terrace to gound floor with necessary rope, haisting platform, motor, controller as per site requirement days etc., the rate is inclusive of hire charges for machine, labour charges for operating the machine and daily bata and conveyance charges and dismantling and removing the same after completion of work etc complete with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.
Supplying and erecting centering for sides and soffits including necessary supports and strutting upto 3.29 M height for plane surfaces as detailed below in all floors with all cross bracings using Mild Steel sheets of size 90 x 60 cm and 10 BG stiffened with welded Mild Steel angle of size 25mm x 25mm x 3 mm for boarding laid over silver oak joists of size 10cm x 6.50 cm spaced at about 90 cm centre to centre and supported by casurina props of 10cm to 13 cm dia spaced at not more than 75 cm centre to centre etc. complete complying with the standard specificaiton. (Payment for centering shall be given after the concrete is laid) For plane surfaces such as RCC floor slab, roof slab, beams, lintels, bed blocks, landing slab, waist slab, portico slabs and beams, etc.
Construction of mortar pit of size 0.90x0.45m with necessary earth work excavation of sand filling 15cm thick, PCC 1:5:10, 8cm thick brick partition wall 11.50cm thick to a height of 60cm with plastering 1:5, 12mm thick on both sides etc complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.
Providing pest control with antitermite treatement drilling holes at junction of walls with floors at 300mm intervals and injucting chemical emulsion on those with cement etc. making holes along the vertical surface out side the walls at 150mm intervals to the depth of 450mm pointing chemical emulsion into the holes and closing holes with chemical etc. spraying all surface of treatment is to be done as per IS code no:5313/ Part III 1981 with approved chemical.(The chemical is to be used on the work should be got approved by the Executive Engineer before use on work) etc complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.
Supplying and fixing in position best approved of BIS quality 160 mm dia PVC rain water down fall pipes having a pressure of 4 kg. / sq.cm including cost of necessry PVC shoe, PVC bend, cast iron gratings of required diameter and special clamps, brass screws, nails, etc., and fixing of cast iron gratings at junction of parapet and the RCC roof slab including finishing neatly etc., complete. The rate shall be inclusive of cast of removable cast iron grating. The PVC pipe shall be fixed in wall with special type of "U" clamp at the centre of the pipe line in addition to those for more than 3.0 metre pipe length, etc., complete complying with standard specification.
Terrace flooring with one course of pressed tiles 230x230x20 mm using Lime mortor 1:2 with crude oil, 10% by wieght of lime mortor and pointed with lime mortor 1:1.5etc, complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.
Restoration of masonry decorative Cornices by careful removal of loose plaster by gentle scrubbing, inserting wooden/steel stakes where missing/damaged and rebuilding the profile using 1:2 lime mortar (Lime Mortar) topped by 1:1.5 fine ground lime mortar (FGLM) to achieve original shape and details using traditional masonry tools using art masons (150 to 300 mm) etc.,complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.
