Excavation in trenches not exc. 1.5m wide and not exc 1.5m in depth and getting out in hard/dense soil for laying of cable trenches all as specified and directed.

Returning filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layer not exc 25cm all as specified.

Removal of surplus soil (excavated soil) to distance not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5m above the starting point and all specified.

Taking out old underground cable of any size and any core including all fittings all as speciifed and as directed. Note : good conditioned bricks , PCC covers will be kept aside and duly stacked for reuse and will be measured under respective item of schedule.

Supply and Laying of cable XLPE insulated screened PVC bedded, galavanised steel strip or wire armored, electric power cables (heavy duty) 1100 volts grade with stranded aluminium conductor of following sizes :-

(a) 300 sqmm 3.5 core.

(b) 240 sqmm 3.5 core.

(c) 185 sqmm 3.5 core.

(d) 120 sqmm 3.5 core.

(e) 95 sqmm 3.5 core.

(f) 70 sqmm 3.5 core.

(g) 50 sqmm 3.5 core.

(h) 35 sqmm 3.5 core.

(j) 25 sqmm 4 core.

Supply and spread dry clean river sand in trenches for cable cushioning all as directed and specified.

Supplying and laying un-reinforced precast concrets cable cover class LV Type 1 flat size 250x150x40 MM

Laying only bricks , PCC covers removed from srl item No 4 above for protection of UG cables all as directed .

Supply & lay common burnt clay building bricks for UG cable protection sub-class'B' of designation 75 of standard size modular bricks laid dry in trenches as directed and specified.

M & L for boring of holes under road, pavement, hard standing by trenchless technology using ultra sound technique and necessary machine including HDPE pipe of 110mm dia suitable for 0.4mpa working pressure.

M & L for GI tubing 'Light' grade for cable protection fixed in poles/walls/laid under roads/crossing etc incl taking out the rusted pipes of following sizes and all as specified and directed :-.

(a) 100mm bore

(b) 80mm bore

(c) 50mm bore

(d) 40mm bore

Labour for taking out the unserviceable / faulty cable after meggering , finding the fault , cutting the cable , jointing with jointing kit using extra cable if required ,relaying of of cables of any size & core,connecting complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Excavation , earthwork , sand for cushioning , PCC covers , GI pipe ,cable , cable joints will be measured and paid seperatly under respectrive item of schedule.

Supply and fixing of Straight through joints (Heat Shrink Kits) for LT underground cable complete for Armoured ,PVC sheathed Aluminium conductor cables by excavating earth, identifying the fault, making proper joint of cable after rectification & returning soil back to earth all as specified and as directed for the following sizes:-

(a) 3.5 core cable 25 to 50 Sq mm.

(b) 3.5 core cable 70 to 150 Sq mm

(c) 3.5 core cable 150 to 300 Sq mm

Supply and fixing of End termination indoor / outdoor joints (Heat Shrink Kits) for LT underground cable complete for Armoured ,PVC sheathed Aluminium conductor cables including takingout damaged joints, connecting and testing all as specified and as directed for the following sizes:-

(a) 3.5 core cable 150 to 185 Sq mm

(b) 3.5 core cable 240 Sq mm

(c )3.5 core cable 400 Sq mm

Weather proof busbar chamber 600x450x300MM made out of 2 MM thick CRCA steel sheet & 40x5 MM angle iron frame suitable for mounting 1 mtr above ground level with locking arrangements incl. Provn of 4 Nos aluminium busbar of 200 Amps rating mounted on insulated frames 2 Nos incl. connecting up incoming & outgoing cables complete with glands,llugs incl.painted with two coats of powder coated paint over a coat of red oxide primer, including neessary earthwork , mass PCC all as specified & directed.

Danger notice plate of 1.6mm thick mild steel sheet, vitreous enamelled white, with letters, figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour and fixed with M.S.clamps, bolts and nuts of approved size, for LT, 20x15cm size.

Material and labour for Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60x60cmx6mm thick, buried directly in ground ( earth pit not less than 2.25mtrs deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5mtrs below normal ground level, connected to galvanised iron strip 32x6mm as earth lead by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel all as shown in electrical plate No. 5 connected to earthing test point all as specified or indiacted including testing on completion.
