EXTERNAL ELECTRIC SUPPLY Design, Supply installation testing and commissioning of Set of Solar Modules 360 Wp or above, generating power of 0.95 MW capacity, (10% extra capacity to be considered for modules to compensate losses) mono crystalline Type, (minimum) 72 Cell duly connected using solar DC copper cables 1.1 KV, 4 Sqmm alongwith miscellaneous components like termination kits, lugs, sign boards, conduits etc.(cost of these items shall be deemed to be included in the cost of the modules) comprising of following technical specification and as specified in PS complete all as specified and as directed.

(t) Material and performance warranty: (i) PV modules including framework must be warranted by the contractor for output peak wattage, which should not be less than 90% at the end of 10 years and 80% at the end of 25 years from the date of completion of work. Contractor shall obtain similar warranty from the original manufacturer and will submit the same to the GE (AF) Hakimpet. However contractor will be responsible for the enforcement of warranty which shall include (a) Defects and / or failures due to manufacturing (b) Defects and / or failures due to quality of materials (c) Non conformity to specifications due to faulty manufacturing and / or inspection processes. (d) If Module(s) fail(s) to exhibit such power output in prescribed time span, the contractor / manufacturer will be bound to either deliver additional PV Module(s) to replace the missing power output with no change in area of site used or replace the PV Module (s) without claim of no extra cost at the sole discretion of GE (AF) HAKIMPET. An amount as detailed in Particular Specifications here-in-after shall be held against as security deposit. (e) The mounting structures of solar PV modules, electrical works and overall workmanship of the grid solar power plant up to inverter must be warranted for a period minimum 05 (Five) years as detailed in Particular Specifications. (u) TESTING: The entire system should work 75% of performance ratio otherwise the solar panels alongwith connected accessories to be replaced by the contractor at his own cost. Notes:- (1) No negative tolerance in the minimum certified module capacity is acceptable. (2) Modules only with the same rating and manufacturer shall be connected. (3) Module mounting structure and testing and commissioning of various elements solar plant shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items of Schedule. (4) Solar module shall be inspected and tested at factory in India in the presence of an officer detailed by the Accepting Officer before despatch to the execution site. (5) The solar module must be made in India.
Design, Supply, installation testing and commissioning of Solar Grid Connected inverter of capacity 1000 KW, 3 phase, 440 Volt, AC operated, 50 Hz (IP 42 / Indoor) complete with following features complete all as specified and as directed:-
(a) For initializing the inverters from the sleep mode, it is important that there is sufficient sunlight and that the Utility Grid is available. Sufficient sunlight in the morning is needed to provide adequate power to the inverter so that it could start up from the over night sleep mode. Availability of the Grid is required to the inverter as it has been programmed to a logic and a pre-set window of Grid voltage and frequency. If the available Grid has all these qualities for which the inverter is designed, it would initialize the main out put contactor and couple with the Grid and start evacuating the power to the Grid it is coupled with. In case the Grid fails due to any reason, the inverter should come to idle mode till the Grid comes back again. Even during the power evacuation, if the sun light falls below the desired limit, due to clouds etc., the inverter also stops working, although the Grid is available, till it starts getting the desired solar power required to power the inverter it self. (b) If the power evacuation goes on till the evening the inverter should keep on getting the desired solar power which is in excess of the power needed to operate the inverter itself. As soon as it attains the power which is just sufficient to run the inverter, the power evacuation stops and only the inverter keeps running till the power drops further low due to decreasing sunlight in the evening, resulting in the inverter going to sleep mode to initialize again automatically the next morning. (c) A record shall be maintained with input from inverter in the event of failure of the utility grid resulting in inverter going to sleep mode and stop generating power. (d) The Power Grid should have the following salient features:- (i) The PCU shall be made in India. The PCU / inverters should be tested from the MNRE approved test centres / NABL / BIS / IEC accredited testing-calibration laboratories. (ii) The charge controller (if any) / MPPT units environmental testing should qualify IEC 60068-2 (1, 2, 14, 30) / Equivalent BIS standard. The junction boxes / enclosures as per IEC 529 specifications. (iii) Built-in meter and data logger to monitor plant performance through external computer shall be provided. (iv) The power conditioning units / inverters should comply with applicable IEC / equivalent BIS standard for efficiency measurements and environmental tests as per standard codes IEC 61683 / IS 61683 and IEC 60068-2 (1,2,14,30) / Equivalent BIS Standard
(e) Economical requirements:- (i) Maximum efficiency 98.5%. (ii) Opti trac MPP tracking for best MPP tracking efficiency. (iii) Active temperature management with Opti cool. Design, Supply, installation testing and commissioning of SCADA system which should be capable of communicating with all string invertors, energy meters, protection control and relay panels, transformers alarm and trip signals, circuit breaker status, weather station with server which should be a PCU with latest chip set technology and storage > 1 TB and supply and integration of mini RTU / Telemetry-data communication, state load despatch centre (SLDC) - (Telemetering unit interface scope) via GPRS / GSM /Suitable MODEM etc and provide information data logs of the entire solar PV grid connect power plants for the local monitoring at plant control room at site as well as remote monitoring via internet with suitable protection as per IEC standards. The SCADA shall be inverter level monitoring compatible and shall have features of remote access (control through WEB / App based control through mobile / PC) to the real time data and combination of wired / wireless technology as per design by the OEM and also supply and fixing of monitoring system i.e. suitable monitor, PC etc with local as well as web operating provisions for monitoring the generation and plant running parameters remotely complete all as specified and as directed:-
(a) The following parameters shall be accessible via the operating interface display in real time separately for solar power plant:- (i) AC output Voltage. (ii) AC Output current. (iii) Output Power (iv) Power factor. (v) DC Input Voltage (vi) DC Input Current. (vii) Time Active. (viii) Time disabled. (ix) Time Idle. (x) Power produced (xi) Protective function limits as below:- 1. AC Over voltage, 2. AC Under voltage, 3. Over frequency, 4. Under frequency ground fault, 5. PV starting voltage, 6. PV stopping voltage. Notes:- (a) All required items like Data logger, SIM, wire / cable required for the function of SCADA (cables within the SCADA system and to be connected with the SCADA) are inclusive and other items required for proper functioning of the system are deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (b) Required earth work shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items of this Schedule
